Not being Scottish is the reason you don't understand why it's funny (rather than patriotic). We Scots find it funny because Sturgeon & Black (and the whole of the SNP) are national embarrassments and it is hilarious to see them being lampooned like this.

But in 2014 when the vote was held for independence, Oil was trading over $130 a barrel now it's at $40 a barrel, So that's why she said "you didn't mention the oil"

No we most definitely don't. You are 100% right Andrew. The number of voters who would now vote NO who voted Yes back in 2014 is growing as every day goes by. First there were the lies of the SNP regarding the oil wealth and oil valuation and secondly is the absolute pigs ear that Strugeon and the SNP are making of Scotland atm. +brenda and veteran H, I hate to see my fellow Scottish countrymen/woman argue amongst themselves when the the real problem festers away right under our noses and many dont seem to notice many dont seem to care that Scotland is turning into a cesspit of cultural division from board game party politics orchestrated from a group of ex lawyers and failed social workers who will blatantly lie to defend failed policy year after year to the detrement of not just us but our generatioins to come!. I was a member of the SNP for 23 years and spouted all the anti English nonesense during that time, I was the most feverant independence supporter you could have met. I cancelled my membership in 2013 in disgust to the NATO question along with many. Since that time I have woken up to the real agenda of the SNP ( communism by stealth ) have reconsidered my sanity in supporting this ideolgy in the first place. I still consider myself a true Scot and I will defend my nationality wherever but I am done with all political parties and I will not be a good little citizen waiving a saltire when they say I am allowed to. The champions of this nation were the men and woman who dug out the coal with their bare hands, built the ships and roads, gave the world invention after invention doing so that future generations of their children,us!, will have a better life. That, imo is being given away in the name of inclusion/diversity when the ones we are trying to include actually want to destroy our legacy. Alba gu bràth.

You'd have been out of the EU even faster, and detached not only from the EU single market but the UK one as well - the Uk market where Scotland does four times as much trade as it does with the entire EU combined. And of course, without the massive subsidy via English taxpayers, you'd have been coping with the biggest budget deficit in Europe as well. The SNP's own White Paper basically admits this, and was counting on oil to partially offset it. "Oil prices are going in only one direction" and "Second oil boom" according to Alex Salmond. The year before oil prices crashed throug the floor and the North Sea had to be propped up with huge tax breaks and subsidies from the Uk Treasury to precent industry there collapsing. Of course the SNP don;t want to talk about the oil these days....

It's called the Barnett Formula. How else does the SNp afford all those freebies it buys people's votes with? The fact that you have to fall back on foul language, strawmans and personal insults says it all. And you never said anything about Eu membership, because you know what I said is true. The letter from Vivienne Redding is still on the Scottish Government's archive and says clearly: the moment Scotland stops being part of the UK, it stops being part of the EU as well. No ifs, no buts.

Once westminister clicks Ruth Davidson follows what about we can't be outside the EU so she said last year Nicola is only giving the Scottish people our right to stay in the EU and not lose thousands of jobs
