@@andyr2203 only one kind of person talks about “Westminster.” Scotland’s devolved powers are greater than Canadian states. You have the power to change tax rates, write your own laws, bring in new benefits. Yet the SNP doesn’t because if Scotland succeeded under devolution then their entire project of breaking up the UK would fail. Their aim is to create enough discontent that independence seems like the only solution. If that isn’t the most corrupt thing you’ve ever heard then I don’t know what is.

For some reason this popped up in my searches a few minutes ago, without my asking for anything about Scotland, Sturgeon or Tracy Ullman. However earlier in the week I had looked up the lyrics for an old US cartoon show called 'Pinky And The Brain', so this might be another example of the that famous KZread algorithm I'm always hearing about.

Absolutely love Tracey, have done since "Three of a kind" back in the 80s. Such a gifted mimic and much underrated singer. Her "Daily Mail/Express/Murdoch publication" readership re-imagining of Nicola Sturgeon as a Bond villain is painfully on point. Love it. And the fact that the REAL "Wee Sottish Terrier, Mhairi Black" laughs along WITH us completely proves the point of the characterisation. Perfect comedy and satire.

The idea that the SNP would kidnap and imprison one of their hate-objects is both ingenious and a direct lift from a well known Middle-Eastern country's special operations manual ! Hands secured behind back, bag over head, in an cold underground room is standard. But substituting the Maiden speech of the MP for Paisley, Renfrewshire, being bellowed in the victim's ears in place of white noise a la Ipcress file . . . genius. So innately humourous
