Track 25: "Tragic Reunion" ~ Fire Emblem Gaiden - GBA Arrangements

This game was released over 20 years earlier than the Fates trilogy, and it could tell a much better story playing by your imagination with limited graphics, sounds and dialogue than the latter even bothered to try. I hope Three Houses is better, haven't gotten the chance to play that game yet.
This is an arrangement project of the game Fire Emblem ~ Gaiden, released in Japan for the Famicom Disk System in 1992. The original tracks are made using the hardware limitations of the original device, limiting the compositions to chiptune sounds. Thus, I made it my mission to upgrade the sound and arrangement of the tracks to what I call the "enhanced GBA standard". This is made using the instruments found in the Game Boy Advance iterations of the same franchise, without restricting myself to any hardware limitations. This results in a rich sound which still hopefully sounds nostalgic to people like myself who grew up playing these games on the GBA.
Do you want to use this cover in your own projects? Feel free to do so without restrictions. However, I'd find it very interesting to see your finished work, so please message me about it!

Woah, I'm glad you understand my feelings of this song. Our imagination is powerful, and something that's lost in the newer games......... Heeeh..

"Grandfather, what the hell is going on? What are you doing here? Rudolf said I was his son, and now all these people are calling me a prince!"

Probably one of my favorite tracks from Echoes/Gaiden. Although I do feel like it's a bit too staccato-y but we all have our own interpretations of what we think things should should sound like!
