I'm a Beatles fan, Paul fan especially, but I think Heather Mills is a great woman. She was just not the spouse Paul needed. As for Yoko, she didn't break up the Beatles. She just made them see they weren't earning their fair share.

Poking at a person's disability when it's got nothing to do with the matter is classless, crash and trashy. Simple as that. If it was done as a jest or laughing with her, that's one thing. You can joke about these things in the right context. But making it the butt of a joke and being malicious is just downright nasty. It's clear she was fair game at the time. In hindsight it reflects really badly.

There are funny jokes about cancer. I've laughed at them. But that's because they aren't malicious and mean and weak without that malice. Good jokes are well crafted. Well told. The joke is not on the person with the illness but the illness itself or society's behaviour around the illness. Big difference. But go ahead, call me woke again. I guess in your head that means you won the argument? Buzzwords like that are the calling card of people who can't make a solid point. I welcome you to prove me wrong.

@@kevtb874 I was not aware of any argument for me to win or lose. I suspect that you may be rather younger than me. Heather Mills was narcissistic and with no great talents. She married Paul McCartney and then made unproven allegations of domestic abuse during their marriage. She went on national television and removed her prosthetic leg, of which this sketch is a satire, but Heather Mills herself brought her own portrayal to this level. I had the misfortune to meet her briefly. Attention seeking and narcissistic, which is why this satire makes me laugh. You are not me, you have not lived my life, I accept that it does not make you laugh. Your responses contain some contradictions by the way, but I don't know you so I don't really care.

@@lesbiangeese3737 i know who Heather Mills is. I'm in my 30's and and currently reading a biography on Paul (which is what led me h down this youtube rabbit hole). It's clear she was fair game in the press and for comedians at the time because people hated her. I get it. What I don't get is making her disability the gag. Other people are amputees. Thousands of them. Any joke aimed solely at that is aimed at them too. It's mean spirited and in hindsight looks like people got carried away and couldn't help themselves making fun of ever facit of her. Attack Heather Mills for being a gold digger. A socialite. Claiming to be as popular and relevant as her icon husband. Being a controlling, narcissistic liar. There is plenty to make fun of. Those are fair game because they are negative traits worthy of mockery, especially if she pushes herself into the public eye. Just keep her disability out of it because it's not only her it attacks and it's not a negative trait worthy of joking about. Simple.

I couldn't care less about McCartney or Mills...so I dunno. This seems like a misfire to me, but I can tell all you doubters that Tracey Ullman hasn't lost anything. There are ample examples of her talent and wit being as sharp as ever, just look to the right. This isn't the place to find it, although this is hardly offensive.

Sorry nothing funny about making fun of a Disabled Person. No matter who it is.People get butthurt when you put down Gays or Blacks and make a big sting about it. Crass, unfunny; particularly as disability hate crimes are on the up here in the UK. Heather Mills may be irritating, but I do wish people would stop referencing her disability as a 'diss'. Punchline to sketch: Disabled woman lurches around in a panic because her prosthetic limb gets dislodged. Every fucking sketch show has run a variation of this clip. How fucking lazy and unimaginative.
