I was into nerds when I married my first husband, who is a software engineer when I was 20. I got divorced in 2012 and I quickly fell in love with a country boy from Kentucky who was stationed at Dover Air Force Base. I wasn't that into country boys until my second husband showed up to our second date in a cutoff T-shirt, beat-up jeans, and muddy cowboy boots. I was like "damn! that man is fine!". Here we are 10 years later and I have been married to my country boy from Kentucky for almost 9 years.

What I love about Country is the instruments, namely lap steel, fiddle, twangy guitars, and that folky bass, plus the clean sounding production to hear it all, but these lyrics and the video are just hilarious and really make this song special.

I was in the Maries during Viet-Nam and love this country. I fell in love with this song when I was pregnant with my third child in 2007. I never use to listen any of it. After seeing this video my husband had to buy his CD for me to shut me up. For some reason my daughter who is 11 yrs use to calm down in my stomach when I put this on. It's 2019 now and I still enjoy listening to this along with other country artists. Trac Adkins is my favorite especially when he dances.
