I hope the story is good. So far, it’s sounding like Dillinger? Is making its own program hence the red color theme and Jared Leto possibly being the opposite of Tron.

I come here to morn the loss of a possible Tron sequel. Thank you Disney for pulling the plug on a world of imagination and possibility. Now we're left with recycled Star Wars.

Normally fan-made trailers are a turn-off for me but this one works; a logical extension of the previous themes as the virtual world reaches out to the real.

Take my hat off to you. This is extremely well made. A lot of fan made videos like this on KZread are cringe worthy but this was brilliant

Bravo. Huge f-ing bravo to all who worked on this. I saw the original Tron in the cinema when it was released and like most others who saw it, I've never forgotten it. I saw Tron 2 in the cinema and it left me pretty cold. One of the posters below my comment has it spot on when he/she says "Everything about this works". Most of all, great tone. Thanks for this.

this fan made is amazing, at the time I believed it like everyone else, but to this day it still surprises me how real it looks, if Sark didn't appear this could easily pass for canon like Tron The next day.

I am so sad this fanmade teaser never blew up and it will probably be lost under all new tron ares trailers.

The least Disney could do is put out the two 4k releases 🙄

2024 Tron 3 got an actual Release date. It's 2025 Oct 9th or 10th!! Very Excited for it!! Basically this story plot!

Daaaaaaayum! That was pretty awesome. You did a great job of capturing the cinematic style of Legacy.

After the countless searches ive done over the past 10 years looking for rumours, I have no idea how i never managed to find this till now. This is awesome, really professional feel to it, loved the little nod at the end.

I really love the background music, it really matches the mood, feel, atmosphere of the tron universe.

F it. I'm posting again. Jesus H. Everything about this works. The plot progression, the vibe, the sincerity..and most importantly of all, a theme that finally renders Flynn's original purpose visible to the world outside of coders. That interaction of mutual synergistic benefit, of "users" and their ability to modify/write "code", the essence of the grid itself, and the grids capacity to manifest anything programmed their in the "real" world...he'd be right. It WOULD /change/ /everything/. Outstanding idea, here.

best fan-made trailer of tron but the best part is that the real next tron said to come out in 2015-2016 and it is gonna be call tron destiny. pretty sweet to see tron agian

In a word...Fantastic. We've seen the virtual world twice now, I think its time we saw some of the characters from the virtual created reality in the "real" world. I hope the producers and directors take a look at this and see all the ideas the fans are brainstorming about. Great job!

This is by far the best "fan film" I have seen. You guy's absolutely nailed it.

Awesome work! Disney should definetly be made well aware of your work. You guys deserve to be a part of whatever's coming from Disney.. This is so way beyond 'fake'. It feels completely like Tron. It's got everything what it takes to make the audience want to see the movie.

I start to think this was Jared Leto's inspiration because I just saw a post of the filmings of Tron Ares, they recorded 2 bikes with red lights on a highway!

Nicely done......good title sequence. I also loved the way you created anticipation for the viewer with the light cycle.

Ironically enough, my dad and I watched Legacy on starz just after I discovered this. It gave me chills - both the coincidence and this short. Amazing... be very proud of yourselves!

Amazingly well done. Big tron fan and this gets a big thumbs up from me. The choice of shots is great and the way its all put together. Effects wise has some really nice touches. Really good visual style and just well done. You really nailed it.

Correct, summoner2100. The terrain that the Light Runner is running on is the rocky terrain of the Outlands, the remote part of The Grid. Kevin Flynn's lightcycle is the only one that can ride from Flynn's Safe House down to TRON City, like the scene when Sam rode into Tron City to find Castor at the End of Line Club.

Definitely the best fan-made trailer I've seen. Great job!

I came across this video by accident and woah! This is amazing!

Just as an FYI to all those other people out there, this is actually a fan-made trailer, not a movie trailer; and a rather well put together one too. I saw this video before and I read that some guy spent about a thousand dollars putting this trailer together with all the graphics and such. This is why Sam and Quorra is in it and that's why the mini plotline its trying to sell isn't clear to everyone.
