I also didn't mention this in the video but unfortunately Cindy Morgan who played Yori in the original Tron movie sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. I really hope she also gets a tribute at the end of the movie. It'd really suck if this movie pretended that the original cast other than Dillinger Jr didn't exist but we'll have to wait and see what happens in this film.

The overall idea sounds interesting but I have z worrying, nagging feeling this Tron 3 sequel will flop pretty bad. Don't get me wrong I love Tron Legacy, I feel it was a great sequel that handled its o.g. characters really well. This one will fail if it doesn't even have Tron and Flynn return in anyway. Also it's not gonna help the movie if it never even bothers to show any kind of continuity, by giving us insight into what happened to Sam and Quorra from the last film.

@@RaikenXion I agree completely I am pretty concerned as well as excited. Joseph Kosinski the director of Tron Legacy recently said the current Tron 3 is similar to what they were doing when he was on board but it's from a different perspective. I feel like it could be bad without the OG characters but Uprising was also great with new characters so I'm trying to go into this film with that mindset. We'll just have to be cautiously optimistic.

RIP, Cindy. It was so awesome to see her make a brief appearance in the extras on the Tron Legacy Bluray. This is what sucks about the major delays in making these movies! I was so hoping she would show up again as Alan's wife in a new movie or series and even reprise her Grid character Yori! 😣I don't have high hopes for this new movie to be honest. If it's not a continuation of Legacy, it's just not going to be good. Legacy wasn't perfect but, man, did it introduce so many possibilities and the visual and audio experience in the theater was still one of the best movie experiences I have been lucky enough to enjoy!

If they mess this up, I'll never forgive Disney.

My god. First movie came out when I was 7. Second one, 36. Now I'll be 51 for this one. Ill surely be dead for the one after.

I remember throwing my Frisbee around back in 1985. I've always been a TRON fan, Legacy was okay. Fingers crossed for Aries

Sam Flynn better be in it or my prediction is post credit scene showing then setting up the next and final movie. This movie a program somehow becomes a villian (ares) and brings the grid to the real world. At the very end it pans to sams chatacter and ends that’s my hope at least

Last I heard in regards to Bruce Boxleitner coming back, he stated he was not interested in returning due to the up and down, back and forth handling of the Franchise over the runs. Essentially, he expressed being fed up with the getting hopes dashed. I assume from many of the failed return attempts behind the scenes but ultimately the cancellation of Tron Uprising was the final straw for him.

That quote was taken out of context but he was fed up. I don't think that'd stop him from returning though even if it's a cameo which i'm hoping for. I admit I was super mad when Uprising got cancelled, sure Tron Ascension being shelved at the time sucked but at least Legacy had an ending. Tron Uprising is an unfinished story so I understand his frustration. I'm just glad Disney is giving this franchise another shot I just hope it isn't the last attempt.

I don't blame him. Disney's handling of this franchise has been pathetic. At least we got two great movies and an animated series out of it with Bruce.

I really hope it's MCP coming back but updated and Ed Jr is the User. Plus Quorra got out into our world in the last film and that has so many implications

All the other casts are a pretty nice pick especially evans and that jedi guy but leto is the old one out here

It will be whack I suspect. Legacy was a passion project with a lot of reference to the old movie with some meidcoore acting but great world building. Back then Disney was still acceptable quality. Past 10 years showed they can not produce nothing of value anymore.

Jared Letto, whole new cast, No Daft Punk and it’s Disney… sounds like a huge Flop!! There’s No way in Hell it gets close to being as good as Legacy!

Finally! I’m excited to see they’re embracing the first 2 Tron movies by calling it Tr3n (at least for now). I was worried they would treat it almost like a soft reboot. But they need to bring back at least a couple characters from the previous movies for it to really feel part of the series. I’m excited to see what Cameron Monaghan’s character is like.

I completely agree. There are very good signs for this third movie like the Legacy producers returning, this new logo, and the fact that it's in the same word with the aesthetic of Legacy. I'm concerned with them ignoring the cast of the last 2 films but I hope for the best.

I read somewhere that TRON 3 is actually going to be a reboot rather than a sequel to Legacy. It would be a real bummer, cos I would love to see characters like Sam and Quorra back. And what background music did you use? It sounds so good.

He's story is over. Legacy was his conclusion. It'd be awesome for him to return in a cameo and considering he did a little promotional video for the Tron roller coaster it's possible but I just don't think he'll be in it.

If they dont bring back the main characters from the last movie for part 2 then I will flat out just not like it. I want to see part 2 of the last story not a recreation with new characters. What every happen to good movie trilogies where you could count on consistent actors. Its like because you don't want to pay the last actors a premium you just grab new fish because your cheap. F off and just pay the old actors there money so we can have a half decent story continuation.

This move will be a huge failure. Disney doesn’t care about what fans would enjoy or if they deliver an entertaining product. They know how to control budget and use advertising and influence to net a profit regardless.

Erm whenever movie sequels change one of the letters in the actual name for the sequel number, as a gimmick; that movie always ends up being mostly a flop.

I like to be optimistic and a lot of this sounds great but yeah I don't have enough faith in Disney as a company. This movie has been in development for a decade so I like to think there's some good elements we could see but who knows anything could happen.

Not holding my breath. If they woke this movie I am done with the franchise. Look at my username. That is saying A WHOLE LOT.

I bet it's going to suck. Big time. Jared Leto is awful, and Legacy is a masterpiece. It will be very hard to reach that level or surpass it. Also, there isn't Olivia Wilde. Bummer.
