Designed with the SUV design language of the Toyota brand, Yaris Cross was also produced with the "Comfortable, Fast, Smart" design theme. Shown as an ideal partner that easily adapts to daily activities, Yaris Cross re-imagined the urban SUV design and revealed a bolder design that distinguishes it from its competitors.
Yaris Cross also offers a comfortable and large living space behind its impressive and compact design. The technological cabin inside the vehicle is designed so that everything is easily accessible. All these controls, including the driving mode selection buttons and four-wheel drive mode, were positioned right in front of the gear lever, aiming for practical use. While the high seating position provides the driver with a better view, the seat and steering wheel design is designed to create comfort and a strong connection with the vehicle. In addition, the rims, which can be preferred up to 18 inches in size, underline the strong SUV stance of the vehicle.
Compared to the Yaris hatchback, the Yaris Cross is 95 mm higher at 1,595 mm, 20 mm wider at 1,765 mm and 240 mm longer at 4,180 mm. The new model, which has the same wheelbase of 2,560 mm, takes its unique SUV look further thanks to its 170 mm and 25 mm higher ride height. Yaris Cross, which has a luggage volume of 397 liters when the seats are in their normal position, offers a volume of 1,097 liters when the rear seats are folded.
There will be 1.5 liter hybrid and gasoline options
Toyota's new SUV model Yaris Cross can be preferred with three-cylinder 1.5-liter hybrid and 1.5-liter gasoline engine options. Featuring Toyota's fourth generation hybrid technology, Yaris Cross will offer high efficiency and high performance together. The hybrid version of the Yaris Cross has 116 HP power, a fuel consumption of 4.4-5.0 lt/100 km and CO2 emissions of 100-114 g/km according to the WLTP cycle. Yaris Cross, which will also be offered with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, can be paired with a CVT transmission or a six-speed manual transmission. The maximum power of the three-cylinder gasoline engine will be 125 HP and maximum torque will be 153 Nm.
Easier parking with Toyota Teammate Smart Parking system
Yaris Cross can also be preferred with Toyota's semi-autonomous parking system. The system, which uses the vehicle's Panoramic Image Monitor and Smart Sonars, stands out by working faster than competing systems. The smart parking feature, which can be used day and night, controls the vehicle's steering and brakes during reverse and parallel parking manoeuvres. Thus, it enables smooth parking, including in narrow parking spaces. The memory feature makes parking easier by recording frequently used parking spaces.
