Hi, from Japan!! I didn’t know Todd’s hair has a function of metronome. Thank you. That’s why I recognize easily how drivers’ bodies are moved inside of cars every time. You two move steering like driving a sports car when you go faster with the Tacoma. You two are definitely sports car guys!!

If only they made these in Japan, could probably justify the insane prices! But HELL NO THEY DIDN'T!

I agree with you about how over prices the dealership charge you 😂 I like to buy one but it is too much to pay for it compare to Colorado and canyon!

Talked to a dealer today in Dedham mass, $20k markup. $85k+ total…. Not sure who the demographic is but I make over 100k a year, have a good rate on my mortgage which is my only debt and I certainly can’t afford that nonsense

$70k? About $30k too much. I like the new Tacoma but how the hell are they getting away charging this much for it?

this is the very most expensive, lowest production trim. It's gonna be expensive at $66k. The median Tacoma price is probably closer to $40-45k, which is about where you would expect a normal price. People look at the extremes for vehicle pricing, but these aren't what people are really buying in any sort of real numbers. The youtubers also like these kinds of cars because they get to put things like $70k tacoma to get your attention, for better or for worse.

My question is, Toyota in the previous Generation Tacoma's were reliable with the V6 and seemed to have lasted for years and years. With the New 4 cylinder, what is their estimated Engine life with the i-force max? Did Toyota enjoy putting out vehicles that were reliable that people didn't need to really ever sell, and is the New Gen aimed at shorter life spans so people will have to trade in or buy a new vehicle a few years later? People seem to think the 4 cylinder and the i-Force won't last long because of the smaller engine size and the fact the battery will degrade over time. Guess we won't really know the answer for atleast another 3 or 4 years.

Questionable whether a four cylinder turbocharged engine on a daily basis, can deliver enough horsepower to charge the hybrid system without overstraining both the engine and a turbocharger for more than a couple of years. Time will tell but definitely not worth the risk and the high price. 😳

This turbo will last this generation….and then to a v6 hybrid next…..wait for it
