I did a valley body on a mitsu outlander and I didn't mine that piston rod back in correctly and it wasn't able to shift into all the gears. I have a friend who had his valve body removed to replace the speed sensor now its stuck in reverse I'm assuming the person. Who did it didn't line that piston rod back correctly which is why it's stuck in reverse?

Hey peter i just bought a 1997 toyota RAVE, and its leaking transmission fluid on the bottom by the cross member frame and I think i need to pull the transmission inorder to fully fix the seal, thoughts? Also if you have any online PDFS DIAGRAMS, or videos on this matter you can send please do

Yes, it should work

When I dropped my valve body I had 2 springs fall out. Not 100% sure where the 2nt one goes. Let me know if you have any other videos or info on this

Good day my gear just got serviced but it can't climb the hill and when selecting it will hold before forcefully releasing and moving. Valve body was replaced and still same issues

That pick valve rod that controls the shifting right if you don't line that up and put it in right you would be able to shift?

Do you have a video about gearbox U240E ?ITS the gearbox that fits on Celica GTS AUTOMATIC .

Whats the symptom or product with the car. My 2001 toyota rav4 shift 1st to 2nd good but it seems like its not engaging the 3rd gear. The moment i go past 30mp my rpm just keep going up and still didmt shift at all and also my reverse doesnt work at all. You think its the body valve with those 5 solenoids?

Hi Peter, Jose here from maputo mozambique- i need your help please? i have a 2001 toyota rav4 1.8 vvti 2WD automatic and the gearbox/transmission is giving me problems. if i select R the vehicle does not move at all, it shows no signs of selecting, if i select L/2/or Drive the car drives but the shifting is jerky and at some engine speed it seems that it selects a gear by upshifting from 3rd to 4th for example but there is nothing there, the engine just revs and does not engage, i have to slow down so that it selects a lower gear and then it gets moving again until the next upshift and it happens again. i have noted in your videos that you discuss computer ECU issues and swell as gearbox issues, thanks to your video i removed the gearbox sump and filter, cleaned the filter as best i could, checked the solenoids 1 by one and they all work. the magnets in the sump had some graphite like paste and 1 little piece of metal but nothing that i could see as serious.. i also removed the valve body completely and cleaned and checked for dirt, filings etc. reassembled everything correctly and used original toyota oils but the car still does the same thing. could it be computer or something else? your opinion please peter? what should i be checking? thank you very much!! i appreciate your help Sir.

Hi Peter, Rob here from Vancouver Canada, I have a Toyota rav4 2002 2.0 4wd in the morning start to drive car and it sometimes hard shift to freeway gear when cold transmission when warm its ok no shift problems

1. WARM UP YOU CAR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES IN WINTER WHEN COLD. (No brainer) 2. Drain your tranny pan and replace with an OEM filter every 15,000 miles on these and use Synthetic fluid (OEM preferred). Your problem is dirty screen on most likely your Pressure solenoid B SL2. I'd clean them all w MAF sensor cleaner, but DO NOT divorce the valve body from the housing like this guy did. Just lower it enough to pull the solenoids, leave some long bolts in there, and for god sake remember which length bolts go where on that valve body.

Hi Peter, thanks again for your video! my 2001 Rav4 with auto 4wd has been super smooth , 120 k , clean trans fluid but suddenly big clunking when shift into reverse gear, now from stop to start it struggles to move , shudders, sometimes clunks into overdrie and won't move...no codes , mechanic with strong scan tool found nothing for codes or ecu trouble...is this the end for my tranny ? thank you.

im not sure if you got it fixed; my wife transmission has had similar issues, i believe a solenoid may be the cause of your issue, they could be burnt out, or clogged.
