The twin turbo V6 is a much more powerful engine than the NA V8 as the torque is immensely higher at lower rpm. Efficiency is also improved and you can expect better mpg. The downside is the reliability will be lower but it is a small factor as Toyota engines are generally reliable including the turbo charged ones

You're correct, won't last even 150k km as diesels are toast at 200k. So how would some idiots here expect same from hot turbocharged petrol engine. Fokin EGR valve, you know what ppl do over here, they just shut it off this stupid piece of technology, cause figure out, exhaust gases just being put into cylinders again and again, and bringing in all the dirt and soot from exhaust back, gosh. Shut it off otherwise engine will die in 70-100k. Now think about this to be equipped with turbocharger, which is going to be clogged too. Would be better to sit one greenie upon each one built in. So they would blow up into pieces. Damn eco activists.

@Potato Lexus front end is ugly as hell. The front is also low with a bad approach angle. It also needs premium fuel. Resale value is not as good as the LC. The LC has a following and legacy that the Lexus does not have and will never have. They built off the same chassis but are not the same vehicle.

Watch the values plummet now to the levels they should have been as a well overdue run-out model. It must be hard watching the new one drive past with that dinosaur sitting in their driveway. I'm glad I'm buying the new one!

Anyone with a markx will attest to that, the super fast Toyota luxury car that didn't sell so much now in a bigger body to replace the not so successful v8 Toyota engine that was a fuel guzzler and performed dismally . Toyota wisdom of marrying the 4 cylinder prado engine with the 8 cylinder v8 to it's average v6 the 6 cylinder engine. Bravo Toyota. You got it right. On spot !
