Good review. Just one thing: I find your logo in the top left corner a bit too large, making it distracting. Could it be reduced a bit or more faded? Or even removed?

Miss the 3.0 v6 so much if thy updated it and put a turbo on it this would be FAST and smooth.

Nice review! I also have the same problem here the reverse camera really sucks and slow! Sometimes we go into the car will immediately start it and reverse to go, however, when u already push to reverse and u need to wait for about 10 seconds to have the reverse camera come out.

If you notice, the wheel spoke design/placement/rotation direction are different if you compared the left side and right side of the car. OCD people will have hard time accepting this haha

Looks a bit like an older Lexus RX series, with the front end looking like the Lexus hybrid sedan it’s discontinued. Overall, nice looking car. Will probably be badged as the new re-designed Venza here in the USA.

Your way of introducing the Harrier much better. You input the plus and minus but no doubt not in full details. I just hate guy who provide all plus inputs.

We just bought a 2018 Harrier Premium for our vacation home in Jamaica. It’s much better equipped than this one with a 360 degree cam, 11” infotainment screen, rear fog light etc etc.

Sleek cae but i would go for the used recon ones which is mostly 100-120k cheaper

The touchscreen audio system is suck , it looks aftermarket, toyota malaysia always did this mistake on their car.

With that price, I rather get CX-9 AWD. At least 7 adults size seats, c/w manufacturer warranty. This car price worth RM 190k ~ RM 220k range only.

The reason why people in Singapore and Malaysia buy Harrier because it is fully imported from Japan and not Thailand or Malaysia.

All people have to know about this is that its a Toyota version of the Lexus RX series. Ofcourse they brought it down a notch but all the chassis and NVH engineering is still there.

This generation Harrier is based on the NX, no longer RX.

Harrier in malaysia is very different from my Harrier in japan.

Pan EJ those who buy this car definitely deserve a better infotainment unit. The CR-V, despite being cheaper, has a better infotainment unit with Apple Carplay and Android Auto support.

Different chassis and drivetrain. Since 2015 (or '17?) the Lexus is based on the Toyota K platform whereas the Harrier is the Toyota MC platform which is the basis for the RAV4 and the new Corolla.

one think i dislike about harrier is his top speed.. 180 km/h per hour? really?

the keyfob looks like that for almost all toyota models in japan it's a luxury car in malaysian because of it's price but in japan, this is nowhere close to being a luxury car at all

Only Malaysia and Singapore to receive out of Japan? As in literally only Malaysia and Singapore to have it? If it's really like that, then how are there hundreds probably even a thousand of them in Indonesia, specifically Batam? 🤔
