Mit semislick sportcup 2 this car can be faster 0.5 sec every km of track, so the laptime can be 7:46, also is to know if have the speedlimiter @250km/h if think is not bad, different tyres and unlock speed limit is -8 sec.

get the north american or asian version you get an extra 47hp from the engine that at least 10 seconds with cup2 or the new ps4s this is a sub 7:40 which is pretty good.

Not bad considering it's a stick on 2 gen old tyres, given PSS5 is out and Cup 2 tyres are available
Pretty quick for a manual on old road tyres.

And people need to remember that we are way too used to insane laptimes nowadays but cars with such impressive times are sitting inches from the ground, have aero, semi slicks, track focused suspension etc. For road driving i would take something a bit more relaxed with no fancy wings, no stiff suspension, sitting on some Pilot Primacies with a manual all day.
What are the specs of this car? Can't find any proper info on it, other than it has a new paintjob. Also is Toyota racing against Mercedes-AMG to have the longest car name? Toyota GR Supra GT4 100TH EDITION TRIBUTE vs Mercedes-AMG GT63 S 4MATIC+ 4-door Coupé

@@einautofan6685 they do with stock car that is why tesla or porche denied offer car to them esp tesla can not do even 1 lap without brake tune(except ionic 5 N) and other cars without tune they can not make good record

Still the former as the EU-spec 3.0 uses the same engine as from 2019.
Das Interieur sieht mittlerweile wirklich veraltet aus.. Das Lenkrad gabs glaube ich schon im F30 3-er, genauso wie das Infotainment.. Wird Zeit für ein Update

Der Handschalter ist 2 Sekunden langsamer als die Automatikversion....auf über 20 km Strecke. In Hockenheim ist er dafür 0.8 Sek schneller.

Das Sondermodell hat ein paar spezifische Ausstattungsdetails, die das Auto ein klein wenig leichter machen als einen standard Toyota Supra. Insgesamt ist das Auto, unter anderem auch durch das Getriebe, 26 kg leichter.

Eigentlich nix. Basiert auf der etwas leichteren Lightweightvariante. Dazu Handschaltung fertig.

Just take out the passenger seat and you are -26kg in a regular one..? Duck this car and all the hype around it..original Supra was crap and so is this bmw Supra. Give me a Clubsport S and I make 8s around this thing🎉

Lt. Print Ausgabe des Supertests war die Automatik Version auf den Geraden wesentlich schneller, während der Schalter in den Kurven etwas besser war. In Hockenheim war der Schaltwagen der Schnellere.

@@runnerbaba all the cars have semi slicks that go for a lap record. All laps record ar at least on a cup 2 or trofeo r tyre! So a lap on michelin super sport is not very clever.

@@runnerbaba first of all, cup2 (and not CUP2R) are a decent tyre also for a daily, being clear you've to pay attention with water. Anyhow, i don't understand why to sacrify the chrono by mounting supersport. This makes all the comparison very very difficult.

@@sofwanlutfy4050 I don't want to start discussing about good daily tires, but to me a good daily tire is a car that allows you to drive safely, but with attention, in the rain...and gives performance on the dry. The cup2 is doing decently both, even if there are better tires. Mentioned trofeo R are a risk in the rain, while yoko are behaving very well except for aquaplaning. For the rest...I agree, but then what is the point of SportAuto? TO show what exactly? I own and Exige V6 S (used on track) and I was evaluating the Supra as a replacement. THis test would have been nice, but in this way it is completely unuseful (even if all people that go on track knows perfectly that the cars can be tuned easily and laptimes around Ring means nothing)

that was a production car driven by factory driver god knows how many atempt and it was on cup2 tires and even then there was rumor about cheating since no one has yet to come anywhere close to those numbers in the real world.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 is faster at the 'Ring. :D LOL On the other hand, I've seen these Supras set up nicely on the race track turning some fast laps.
R33 GTR can make under 8 minutes in 1993. Even a civic type r can do faster than this.

Ultimately all three of them are still tied by physics, r33 and the mkv have similar power and weight, and the formers awd probably compensates quite a lot for the older tires, and in this regard the ctr also ran grippier tires than the supra shown here. If you want to see "progress" then you can look at the current m4 xdrive, if that can be called progress, well, up to the individual i guess.
In den Kurven den 3 Gang gehalten, statt in den 2 zu schalten und die Gänge nicht ausgedreht. Sorry, sieht eher nach einer Spazierfahrt aus. 🤷🏻♂️

Ist bei einem Turbo Auto unnötig. Da Handschalter, ist oft besser den höheren Gang drin zu lassen. Aber Hauptsache irgendein Müll kommentieren.

@@Ratcher Gehe ich mit Dir mit im normalen Straßenverkehr. Auf der Rennstrecke mit über 20 Kurven für den 2.Gang ( Turbo hin oder her ) ist die höhere Drehzahl einfach entscheidend für eine schnelle Runde.

@@X71911 auf der Nordschleife gehst fast nie in den 2. Gang, außer die Gänge sind sehr kurz übersetzt - nicht der Fall bei diesem Auto. Man verliert ein paar Zehntel, wenn überhaupt - nicht die Rede wert.
Er sitzt so nah am Lenkrad, daß er wegen dem Ellbogen kaum lenken kann.

Er sitzt so nah am Lenkrad wie es in praktisch jedem Motorsportlehrgang in Lektion 1 erklärt wird. Nah am Lenkrad = kurze Wege, schnelle Lenkreaktion. Der Gebhardt weiß schon wie es funktioniert ;-)

Ich mag den Gebhardt nicht, seit er das Zepter vom Saurma übernommen hat. Teils extremst abgehoben (insbesondere in den ersten Jahren) und dabei nicht mal ein mittelmäßiger Rennfahrer, sondern eher guter Journalistensundaydriver. Die Sitzposition ist dennoch korrekt, wenn man von der etwas zu flach eingestellten Rückenlehne absieht. Der Supra selber ist halt ein Sportwagen, nicht für Rennstrecken. Deswegen lässt jeder Yaris GR die Dinger auf der NS stehen.

Erklärung wäre gut nicht einfach "slow"kommentieren 🤣 das er auf der Döttinger Höhe zeit verliert weil er bei 253 tacho abgeriegelt ist und der alte bei 265 tacho is dir auch bewusst ? Ich liebe einfach diese internet menschen junge

It is not the racecar....its the street variant. Pretty normal Supra with a manual transmission for about 65000 Euros.

What were you expecting? Even they call it "GT4", the Supra is not tuned for the racetrack and it comes on pretty normal tires. 7:54 is absolutely ok for a car like this
