I was able to use a large socket with a piece of rubber (gasket-like) material between, to push down and twist the retainer off. Always enjoy seeing how everyone else does a task though! Thanks as always!

When my 2002 Toyota Tacoma jumped out of gear I thought I damage it by changing the oil. The seal was disintegrated Imperial truck
