I think the soul of the FT-1 look is that F1 like nose. I just don't see how you can kit that on with the current Supra.

The only problem I have with it as of now is the fake vents and perhaps how they intend for us to put us plates on the front. Both of these can most likely get fixed as this car will definitely have a lot of aftermarket support. Maybe some proper aero and a custom spoiler for the back will be added.

@@salehali9541 I think that is fixable with a custom front bumper and some other minor body mods. Personally think it will take a few months for it to be almost like the ft1

The interior design guy was replaced by the BMW parts bin guy.

This is what everyone in the world expected the Supra to be. And instead we got a watered down BMW Z4 lol 😂 The new Supra should have been the celica and the FT1 the new Supra. Everything about the FT1 was perfect 👌 there was so much soul in it. This car was worthy of the name Supra.

The Celica has a very rich heritage in WRC and Hillclimb. It wouldn't be fitting putting the Celica badge on that BMWazda MX-86-BRZ Monstrosity Toyota calls the new Supra.

Yondoodle really because the car has been offered in the same layout since it’s inception starting with the first gen. Yes there was a few rally cars. But the car has always been front engine rear wheel drive. The very reason we have a Supra is because of the celica.

If I'm not mistaken, most people complained about the Ft-1 taking on the name of supra. It's almost like the idea Toyota had was to create an affordable LF-A. Which is not saying much since the lfa started at 400k. Supra fans were worried of not being able to afford it basically. Props to Toyota because they listened to their supra fans so In simplistic terms you can view the current supra as Toyota's answer to an affordable version of the FT-1. Now this is where I personally and currently stand, the FT-1 styling was instantly iconic on it's own and had made it's own identity with in the short period it was unveiled. I'm disappointed, not because it isn't the new the supra, but because the FT-1 never made production. As iconic the supra is, there was and is nothing supra about the FT-1 and I liked it.

Breathtakingly beautiful from every angle. WOW.

Wow! What a flowing design as there’s no sharp edges and that make the total design. The rear window is so perfect in design. But to me the mirror is what makes the statement that says “FT-1” has arrived. Thanks jay and the designers also for letting us view this gorgeous piece of art.

My daughter just sent me a picture of one on display in Paris and it is was a rich brown color and I thought it was a lamborghini or something more expensive! then I noticed the Toyota emblem on the car and researched it , what an awesome looking car!

I wonder what's in the engine bay. Judging from the length of the hood, it looks like a straight 6. Or at least, i hope it is. Twin turbo inline 6. Man, that would be amazing. And this FT-1 stands out amongst all other cars' designs. It looks phenomenal and strays away from the generic designs we've seen since the late 2000s to today. It's very, very beautiful. Too bad there was no test drive... At least if they started it up so we could hear the exhaust. Come on!

This car is a piece of art. The actual Bm...Supra that we got is a garbage... They should've kept this design

I love the way the car flows, it looks as though it came from a dream. I am a huge Corvette guy but this goes beyond the looks of the new 2020 vette, hope they bring this to the road.

This car is really ugly imo. I dislike the shape on the front which isn't subtle at all and the headlights and rear especially. They should've redid that altogether.

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best looking modern Japanese car, period. The proportions are spot-on. I love the British-esque long hood, short and sloped rear end, sports car look. Toyota, please build this! Even if I can't afford it, it would enrich my day if I just saw one! Don't change ANYTHING that doesn't need to be changed. This is the Toyota we've been waiting for.

That Toyota FT-1 needs to be in production!

A lot of the same lines as the Corvette but with some outrageous touches; very, very nice.

I love the sports i also love the front headlights very futuristic

Besides the interior, I think they absolutely nailed the futuristic design on this one. Crazy yet believeable, and very desirable. Love it!

REALLY hope Toyota actually produces this car and if they do then stick to the heritage of of the Supra with an inline six.

If this ever becomes a reality ... I will definitely buy it, even if just to keep it as an "wow" factor in my garage.

Stunning! Absolutely ravishing; this has both an unmistakable Toyota-esque design DNA but is way bolder as you say. It would be a remarkable statement piece for Toyota, bring them into the realm of upmarket brands.

This car is one of the best looking I have ever seen. Absolutely wonderful look. Futuristic without looking stupid. It looks even better then Lamborghini Aventador. 5/5

This is where it all really comes down to. This car would definitely be in the 150-200 thousand dollar range, which would make it unobtainable by many people including myself. I have the 3.0 Supra GR and honestly it doesn't look that bad in person, but this concept car is just so much more beautiful

I think the FT-1 is a beautiful car, sexy even. I may never own one but I don't need to own one to appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship that went into making the FT-1.

well they had no choice but to downgrade the production model because of production costs, and so that they can lower it's price. at least they gave the car an inline 6 engine that's similar to the 2j. you guy should really learn how to be content more.

I don't know about others, but I can tell you that the new "supra" is a disappointment to say the least.

Wow look at that stance!! this looks like a proper supra. look how wide it is.

It's the most beautiful piece of automotive artwork to wear a Toyota badge in many years. I certainly hope this car ends up going from concept to reality.

My god, i am absolutely blown away. I always liked cars but was never one of those crazy fans hell i dont even drive lol. But this is the sexiest car i have ever seen it has made me love cars more than ever well done toyota the FT-1 is an absolutely brilliant car and i can guarantee it will do well. When i first saw it i fell in love it has a nicer rear end than a lot of women lol absolutely stunning
