Mahesh Murali Ford service has significantly improved ! resale value is a miss true but I hate the fortuner because you see most corrupt netaz driven around in a fortuner lol

Exactly it's a useless feature , you will loose it massive sporty look and get in to that stupid luxurious category and a person behind fortuners wheel would never put his head out of the sunroof instead rev that beast engine 😎

Thank you for a great review. But, you have not covered the NVH part. I am interested to know if it is quiet on the highway and does not produce harshness on certain services or the big tires don't kick on midcorner pumps, etc

Also, when will we have a comparison review of Endeavour vs Fortuner? Really looking forward to that. On the crux of buying one of two.

hi nice review, do you have any information on the launch of the new fortuner sportivo in India?

Looks wise I prefer the older fortuner which was more butch and had a typical gangsta look the new one is more fluidic like Hyundai although I like the interior of the new car.

For me its always the reliability factor than any other. Car with less frequent breakdown amuses me and this is where the legacy that toyota carries comes into picture. Imagine you being stranded on a highway or a deserted place bcoz of a breakdown.Sounds nightmarish😨😷

You guys should do a test drive review of the Petrol model also.

Mr. Hormazd is always class apart when reviewing a car. The way he explain the details like seats, boot space, engine feel and presents the car as a purist driver... And I totally agree with him that THERE IS NO SUNROOF.... WHY TOYOTA WHY????

Good review, covering all the important aspects of the new Fortuner. It has improved in the 1 area where the previous one was lacking - interiors quality and plushness. Even though it now costs 40 lacs on road and misses out on some features vis-a-vis the top end Endeavour, it will top the sales charts for its segment because of the brand strength of Toyota and Fortuner in India. And as the reviewer says at the end of the video, "you just cant go wrong with a toyota fortuner"

there was scratches in the left frnt tire side

the price is a big let down , its justified , and i need some time till i grow to like the design

I had to comment on this one. Finally, the BossMan is out. What a privilege, to listen to Hormazd, the review is of a very high standard. When it comes to India and Automobiles, his word is the last word. Toyota have been generous is not pricing this Fortuner in the stratosphere. The vehicle is expensive, but for what it delivers over a period of time, it is worth every rupee. This is what you call an aspirational SUV, its worth getting up daily and rushing off to work and working harder everyday so that you can afford this SUV one day

Autocar do make a versus between the mighty fortuner and the mean endeavour

Saw plenty of these back in 2014 in Sydney...also some last year in Dubai...pity that Toyota sells end of the line products in India even today

Thanks to Toyota for the two wheel drive option which makes so much sense since most customers , IMHO 90% atleast, buy these vehicles for their sense of safety, road dominance, powerful engines and seven seats but very few actually for the four wheel drive gadgetry. This makes me sad as I see so any people buy 4WD/AWD SUVs and not use them to their full capacity. I think all manufacturers should take this route. I remember the mitsubishi outlander had this feature and it was such a practical thing.

Who are you fighting with? Everyone has a right to opinion. I see you are huge Ford fan, I am restoring a '69 Boss 429, had two - 88 5.0 and 92 5.0. Right now With Diesel Excursion.

I except next generation are comes with more feature loaded and also have a sunroof because now in India sunroof is a common feature

@ Joel Mammachen ::::: true bro.. we shdnt expect anythng frm toyota.. they bring nothing new apart from their cheap engines.. the only reason their engines hav better life span is beacause they are not performance based.. very low output.. engine isnt used to its full potential.. low bhp, low torque, low acceleration, low mileage, low performance.. look at old fortuner, 3.0 litre engine and just 345NM ? i mean WTF ? evn TATA SAFARI has 360NM with 2.2 litre engine.. when you arnt going to use the engine to its full capacity, its definitely going to last longer.. but the question is, do we only need longer life and low performance ?

One thing lag, the absence of sun roof, it's really mind
