Check out a Lexus es350 if you want one with some more comfort

Too loud for a family sedan for me. These sound the best with the 3rd cat delete and a pair of Magnaflow (or similar) mufflers. Nice deep rumble without sounding too ricey up top.

Fact that left tail pipe is offset to the left ever so slightly would bother me more than the drone sound he experiences on the daily.

Sina palang thanks! I'm glad you like it. I had a muffler shop cut off my mufflers and resonator. Then they welded on piping in place of the muffler and resonator. Adding exhaust tips is up to you.

It looks a lot like a 2011, but the 2009-2011 models look very similar just the bumper and interior have a little difference

Yes, I didn't touch any of the cats at all. Everything after the last cat is just piping.

I agree, I drive my Mom everywhere she has to go in one..that puts out 307HP on the dyno..she's a VERY NICE XLE, but it is quieter.. until I romp on it, then i hear a sound like an F1 car from the passenger seat...seriously great car. Sweet dreams sleeper.. the right hands can do wonders for sound, style & performance of a Camry!

you have a check engine light for your oxygen sensors? Did you ever get it fixed? And if you did, what did you use to fix this problem?

2GRFE is an open deck beast of a six cyl. In time these engines could become the “ tuners” choice for builds vs the 2 JZ. GIVE it a few years and the market will be flowing with off shelf 2GRFE performance mods. I have a 2011 Camry se v6. SE HAS lower suspension/ ride height and much heavier sways. Nobody here will believe that I easily matched and beat in full rolling start to 135 mph run a SRT8 Charger , Focus RS and BMW 335 D with a supposed 420 torques. The difference here is I truly understand my car and how to use its powerband. Not that the other drivers weren’t skilled , they just didn’t have the same skill I acccumulated racing motocross and ice in the eighties and early 90s. I’ve owned a crap ton of cars some pretty damn nice but something about 2GRFEs easy willingness to rev and pull that feels “special “

I have an Avalon with this engine. It's stock minus drop in air filter. I have had a few run ins with V6 Camaros and Mustangs, and surprised the crap outta them lol. About a week ago I easily bested a 350z from a dead stop. This engine has impressed me so much that I went to a nearby shop to see if I could get a custom y pipe made after the manifolds, but I think I may just contact mkc for one, as I think it'll be about the same in terms of price.

I just bought a 2011 Camry SE V6 with 100k for $9800, do you think it worth it? I really like how sport the suspensión feel (stiffer) and the power from that engine is awesome, do you think 2GR-FE engines with the paired transmission are reliables?

Is the car slower after you did this, and does this ever get annoying. I have a 2010 Lexus ES 350 with the same 2GR-FE engine.

I haven't really noticed any difference but that's probably because I've had this set up for well over 2 years now. The only thing that someone would find annoying about this set up is the drone when you're cruising on the highway. For me personally, I don't mind it. I'd recommend you try deleting the mufflers first if you want just a deep tone and if you want it more raspier then you can cut out the resonator as well.

I have a 2007 camry, with the same setup, the most annoying part is the drone in the cabin when cruising 50 mph up, but you'll get used to it because it still sounds great

Joe King-Edens old comment but I can confirm it’s 1 pipe split into 2 at the end, known as a Y pipe. No camry has ever come from factory with true dual exhaust (as cool as that would have been).

I did this to my ‘07 sienna and I actually sounds decent 😂 check my channel for the video
