This was a huge help, thank you! Had to mount a camera hanging down, underneath the headliner and to do that needed to find the roof crossmembers to make a secure mount (without going through the roof with drill/screws.) Saved so much time seeing how the fasteners come out. 👏👍👌

Thanks. My situation is ugly. Rodents trashed my Prius! I got it as a gift from an estate. Don't want to take this headliner out, but stripped down and cleaned the vehicle to a shell, and it still stinks! Headliner and door panels are all that's left 😡

I'"m trying to fix dent on rood . My hood lifted up on me . Tried pulling with suction cups and had some luck but I couldn't finish it all the dent . Heating it with heat gun and pushing or banging it out . Wish me luck

So...changing the headliner would probably only take ~30mins, depending on drying time for the glue. Really dope!!

Great video. I need to remove the dome light assembly on my 2008 Toyota Camry XLE but I can't find any helpful videos. The way you removed that glove assembly is the same way I can remove the one on my car? Are they the same?

So to remove the a pillar trim you just pull the top to slide it out and then remove the white clip from body? I have a 2017 and the middle clip isn’t securing the trim piece.

This guy messed with the salvaged vehicle. If folks are doing this make sure to disconnect the battery terminals 15-20 to de-engergize the power going to tho6air bags modules b4 performing the tasks cuz it involves disconnecting the harnesses and some of that are air bags harness.

when you get that glovebox lamp unit down, is there an easy way to tap into the power for an accessory device?

I did this today. Wasn't too bad. My 2011 xle had the infamous sunroof pop. All the bolts were a little loose and one broke off from the factory I assume. Drove around before installing headliner and pop is seemingly gone. Ordered kilmat and will add that and some great stuff in places to make more quiet if it ever returns.

I'm glad I saw your post. There were screws that were actually loose? I have chased down about everything I thought might make that noise in the hopes I would not have to remove the headliner. Looks as though I will have to. I love the car (2014 Avalon), but that persistent creaking really pushes me to the limit. Like you, I plan to drive around a few days to insure it is gone. I have done several things which seemed to fix it, but then a day or two later, it's back. Any particular sequence you used for the hardware, of just snugged them down? Thanks again for the post.

@@bbstacker70 the tab calls for a particular order but when I did it I had forgotten about it. I just loosened them all and did a random tighten. Be careful to not overtighten...one of mine had been overtightened from the factory because it didn't feel right and just sheared off. Been a few months now no pop

A little late to be a useful response to your question; for others coming along, look for "angled push pin pliers."

Was there no way to twist the A pillar clips off?

Was that the air bag that was cut off

@@fahedmukadam3976 This looks like a car that was in an accident, so the side impact curtain air bags were deployed, which is why the roof lining is damaged already.
