Woa!!! You just tore the hell out of those two plugs by prying them apart like that! You needed to first release the yellow plastic plug locks with a small flat head screwdriver.

You cant when the airbag deploys the heat from the module melted the plastic connectors. If you look carefully the plastic sticker behind the unit has shriveled up

They were melted, due to the heat from the airbag deployment. A new clock spring with new connectors to a new airbag will be required.

You can also pry the whole unit out. Much easier?

nice vid man, my keychain lanyard was caught around my steering wheel in my 2016 corolla and seemingly unplugged the horn/buttons from the steering wheel, they are no longer functional, do you have any idea how i could fix that? maybe it’s just a wire that was yanked from its spot? thanks any help is appreciated

Moin Hider most likely your clock spring has failed... there’s a reason why nobody is supposed to wrap anything around the column.

Well you apparently know absolutely nothing about working on vehicles. 95% of the time an airbag deploys it melts the plugs for it and you need a new clock spring.
