There's always a hidden screw. Even with your mouse, idden under a sticker.

Hi PJs quik question, Can I install a new radio 2020 with bluethooth in my Citroen C1 2012 model? I was wondering if all de wires al still up to date for a newer type radio.

I’m in desperate need of some help my friend. Awesome video first of all, nice and easy to follow. The Mrs has a mk1 2014 aygo with the factory fitted Tom Tom sat nav above the radio. No steering wheel controls or anything like that. Is it possible to fit an after market stereo? Do we need anything different? Will the sat nav directions still come through the speakers if we get an aftermarket stereo? Thanks in advance

Hello, I would like to install a Becker Indianapolis 7922 navigator in my Toyota Aygo but first I would like to check the availability of the speedometer signal (GAL) necessary for correct operation. Can you tell me where I can find this signal to connect it to the Becker connector PIN? Furthermore, I ask you if adapters are also required for installation. Indeed it does have a dab receiver built in and will require a dab antenna. Most are a clear plastic film that sticks on the inside edge of the window screen, you then run the cable down and under the dash before feeding it up to the radio and plugging it onto the small brass connector sticking out the back of your JVC. Most car shops or Ebay/Amazon sell them for under a fiver.

It can be done but you will need to buy an rca converter, it connects to the speaker wires and has rca output

Which cable is connected to amplifier that it works when the radio is turned on? I own such a car But what color is the cable?

Hi . How do you put a radio code in the Aygo standard radio ?

Really helpful video, thanks, but - the plastic fascia adaptor you mentioned doesn't have clips, it just slides in with no clicking and nothing to secure it in place. That means it can easily slide out again, and therefore the new radio is very easy to steal. You'd just slide it out of the dash, unplug the aerial and ISO connectors, and it's free. What am I missing? Do I need to glue it in place?

Bit late to reply but you use the metal cage to clamp the insert to the fascia, just bend a few of the lugs.

On the iso connector wiring,I unplugged the bullet connectors on the red and yellow wires that join them together and plugged the bullet connectors back together but red to yellow and yellow to red

dont forget the rear support , or your cd player may skip .

No release keys on this car as can be seen in the video you need to remove the centre of the dashboard.

It would be cheaper to buy a new radio due to the labour costs of having it looked at.

What if you want to add a subwoofer to the new radio?

Then your best bet would be to buy a amp wiring kit that includes a main power cable that goes from the cars battery with inline fuse,also a remote cable that goes from the blue wire of the new radio to the remote connector on the amp,earth cable the goes from the cars chassis(bare metal) to the amps earth connection and last of all a pair of rca cables from the radios rear to the amp.

My gf has a 2012 Aygo fire, but the jacks died on the radio. If we replace it with a second hand radio from an Aygo ice; 1 will it work fine 2 will the Bluetooth work correctly?

If you get a thin screwdriver you pry up the corner of the plastic cover for the speaker (corner closest to the centre of car for each side) then there will be one screw or maybe two I can't remember but take them out and the rest of the speaker cover will come off then you have access to the speakers which are simply held in by a few screw's easy to take out and then just unplug from the back and that's it, reverse the process get your new speaker and connect it from the back then screw it is and screw the plastic speaker cover back on and boom all done, whilst you are changing the front speakers maybe cut and stick some dynamat or something similar around the speaker to reduce vibrations from the speaker going through the dash. Hope this helps.

Yes swap the yellow and red power wires around on the cable cluster that comes out the back of your new radio. So in other word red goes to yellow and yellow goes to red.
