I have ancient ancestors from here from 1750 BC, they were Cananites, I also have Philistines from Haifa and Ashkelon all on my maternal side.My mother has a lot of DNA from Eygpt, Isreal and Lebanon so I suppose it stands to reason that she should have some Ashkenasi and other Jewish DNA. I have a feeling they were the so called baddies in The Bible!

Not driving out the Caananites was against God's original command, but God always has a redemptive plan when we refuse to choose a difficult but ultimately better path. God's plan is to show us the perfect way to go but offer us repentance, recovery, reclamation, and redemption after we suffer the natural consequences for not choosing to listen to His command. His command is always wisest because, like a general, quarterback, or CEO because He sees the bigger picture. The tribe of Manasseh did not drive out the infant frying, fertility goddess prostituting, and idol worshipping Caananite tribes like God told them to do so they suffered greatly for it. But, God raised up Judges among the tribes to correct the situation and continue His plan of redeeming His relationship with His prideful, stiff-necked people who's primal ancestors in the beginning chose not to make His first "Do not", "refrain", "resist" command part of their life plans. Do not confuse God's perfect will with His permissive will when speaking of God's plan. He has a plan for us to know Him when we obey and a backup plan to restore us when we disobey. When we sin, we have to sacrifice that sinful life for the fullness of the risen life. But, when we get back to obeying God, we realize that the scriptures are true: "Obedience is greater than sacrifice". It is greater because true Obedience always comes before the sacrifice is made.

The Name above every name is YaHUaH Not God as that replacement is a defiled forbidden invocation of another punishable according to the writing in stone !
