The last point you made is so critical--a lot of bands come across as if they think they are doing you a favor by playing a show, when in reality the band's job is to provide entertainment. You guys deserve all the success that comes your way in the future, great video.

Took a chance to buy tickets for my wife and me. We're not kind of tech death metal fans but Archspire is just such beautiful music :) Memory unlocked. I was asked to manipulate light during a show. I had no experience, and the club has kind of two silly bulbs. It was a shame, but it was some black metal gig; the sound guy just recommended turning on blue to the max and it almost worked as it should :D

@@DeanLamb Hi! A bit of feedback; I hope it can be helpful. 1. Tickets were quite cheap, 105PLN is 24$. A lot of concerts are 10-20% more expensive. More popular bands can easily go into the ~50$ range. Archspire is not an another-one band, and people will be willing to pay at least 30$. 2. Organizers often underestimate demand. It leads to stupid early sold-outs when you need to buy a ticket for 150-200$ if somebody decides to sell it. 3. Poland is not capital-centric. Many concerts are happening in smaller cities, and people are just traveling there. I assume clubs cost cheaper there. I have lived in Poland for just two years, so probably my observations are garbage. But I feel it was possible to have higher prices, a more decent club, and more people. Nowadays I like just to stay and watch how musicians play music, it was hard in Warsaw :) Wish you enjoy the tour! I hope I'll have a chance to see the band another time.

I knew alot of work went into planning a tour, but never thought about half this stuff. Always thought the label was more involved when it came to putting together a tour package.

I drove four hours to see you all last year. Didn't have the chance to do that again this time around. One thing you never mention is that you do a good job of building a connection with fans and I felt that last year at your merch table and with some of the incredible stage photos I got to hang in my home after the show. You all are fantastic and I hope to see you all on the next US tour!

First heard about/saw Archspire in March 2015 (can't believe it's been 8 years already) at a hole in the wall venue in Santa Ana, CA where I was blown away and you guys overshadowed the headliner Fallujah who I was there to see. Since then I've seen Archspire about 9 times and it's crazy to see the level up to bigger and bigger crowds as you grow your fanbase. You guys deserve all the success in the world for being so cool to your fans (Toby let me try out his new Kiesel once) and just being one of the most fun bands out there on top of the amazing music you put out.

The whole tour package thing to me is fascinating. You go to a multi band show on a long tour and just have fun and leave if they come near you, but behind it is all negotiations and numbers and costs. Blows my mind.

This is a really informative video that gives us a glimpse of what goes into making everything happen behind the scenes and covers a number of things I hadn't ever really considered. As someone that lives in a location that isn't exactly a "key destination" (Boise, ID) for touring bands, I'm glad I've been able to catch you guys on a couple of occasions here and you definitely bring it just as professionally as you would for a crowd two or three or even ten times as big. I can vouch for how fun an archspire concert is seen them four time now, with that lineup it would be awesome to see psycroptic and entheos which I believe we're together when they came to town put on such a great show aswell!

Evokes both classical and contemporary debates on that question in political economy... especially on the relationship between subjective value (value of the art form) value produced through labour inputs ie all elements accounted for in the video and value extracted by landlords in rent! Archspire cerebral beyond the music !

Your insight into how supporting acts get chosen was super interesting, I always wondered "why that band?" for certain shows. Also damn, i always underestimate just how much stress and effort goes into touring. it really has to be a passion for artists to go through that amount of shit.

Was supposed to see Benighted a bunch of times but Covid got in the way and always wanted to see Benighted, plus Entheos ae so good live. Can't wait!
