The place is just okay I don't see anything too fantastic it is just status symbol More especially the houses are old houses I prefer lekki houses and environment it is more contemporary. a fully detached mansion in Osapa London estates for me is preferable.

what many out here commenting don't get is the concept of banan isalnd isn't to be like domestic estate like Nicon town and pinnock beach estate, the idea of banana island is to create a new vicinity, a new location for the ultra rich, that's why you have businesses and top organizations there, something similar to VGC along Lekki-Epe, now to my second point many say they prefer other places i even saw omole phase 2 or so ,well you have every right to your own preference but if you could afford it you will be living in billionaire's row called banana island.

I also feel like the video didnt do any justice to Banana Island at all. I worked there for years bfr i traveled. Its the most organized estate ive been. The security is nunber 1. Maybe only aso rock beats it. Beautiful houses,the sanity there sef will force you to obey traffic rules!

@ighomercy5024 you are very right with the observation. If I had done a drone view of the place, it probably would have given us a better view than this, but I can’t. Reason being that, banana island is a residential neighborhood where privacy is key. The best one could do here is make this type of video while heading towards one’s destination.

I wanted to buy a unit the tall building by the gate of this banana island when it was newly built. I somehow change my mind later. Doesn't worth it.

It’s more than worth it. Banana island has this amazing setting than anywhere else in Nigeria. It’s a beautiful place to live.

You lied, Dangote, Wizkid does not live in Banana Island. There's also a little commercial area within the estate. Airtel, 9mobile,international brewery, and some other ones that i can't mention, they all have their offices in the estate.

It's the boring architecture and ugly high fences. We Nigerians are not that into modern architecture and aesthetics. On such an expensive plot of land, you would think they will build some modern architectural masterpiece homes on it that would wow you.

You're not sure of the price you mentioned first you said 1.7 million dollars for a square meter and later said to own a kand there can cost 100 billion naira just calculate Your prices by that of square meters then you will discover that it doesn't tarry at all .

to be candid and frank,...there is nothing fantastic about this over hyped estate...some estate in lekki are far better and more serene and organised that this banana island...for example,...cowry creek estate or even peanock estate are far more organised and more serene than this place. But for me personally, i would prefer owning a residence in ikoyi than any of the estates i just mentioned
