What Can $10 Get in LAGOS, NIGERIA? (Craziest City)

HELLO FROM LAGOS, NIGERIA -- COUNTRY #175!! 🇳🇬 I truly had a lot of fun making this video inside Africa's craziest and most populated city. Did you know that over 20 million people are living in Lagos?! It is hands down one of the most hectic, chaotic, and vibrant places I've ever been with a LOT of stories to tell. I'm overwhelmed.
My local friend and KZreadr named Tayo (his channel linked below) has been taking me all around his bustling city of Lagos and we've had an absolute blast together. Surprisingly, this was one of the hardest videos I've ever made because it's REALLY challenging to shoot content on these streets. People don't like being on camera here and they make a huge commotion in the streets and ask for money (etc) whenever they see it from a distance.
In any regard, I hope you enjoy this episode of my $10 series and get a glimpse into local Nigerian culture. More to come tomorrow! Nigeria is awesome!

The best part about Drew is that he treats everyone with respect and equality. I've always noticed that he promotes street vendors, local and homegrown shopkeepers, and is very humble and polite towards them. That's the kind of community and society we need to build around us, the one that has respect for other cultures and religions and promotes diversity. ❤️ Thankyou for being a great example Drew. Much respect 💚🌻

Manufactured Consent market people only charge foreigners more because they can get away with it. It's not about respecting their fellow countrymen, it's about knowing that locals are aware of how much things cost and won't be willing to pay a higher amount. Go to most markets in the world, if you look or sound unlike a local, expect to be charged more. Even shops with fixed prices have overpriced keychains, postcards, etc targeted at tourists, who are willing to pay extra. Most people do understand this when they go abroad.

It's just benefiting some companies and neither nation. In Ireland we have Trocaire which is government funded and it gets hundreds of millions a year. It gives food and shelter etc to Africans. This happena to even Nigeria. So, the trick is whatever price you are told slash it into 2 and starthe pricing, it they don't accept the price walk out and you would be called back. But if you aren't go to the next shop and do the same, you would be given a certain price by both shops choose which is favourable for you. @Glamorous Taee wow I guess I better start looking up to people like you for survival since I'm from a "third world country " . Wait a sec let me go of my iPhone for a sec then I'll get back to you. I got the phone through charity perhaps you can buy me some credit to complete the charity work 😂😂😂, then I can continue being connected to the internet and watch KZread . Thank you very much for the video. I'm congolese from the DRC and I really love Nigeria, it is one of my top countries in Africa and in the world because Nigerians have inspired me, they work very hard, honestly they know how to hustle without being ashamed and they don't care about other people may think or say about them as long as what they do is right and then they are very united anywhere you find them, I have seen and experienced that in Johannesburg, South Africa where I have been living since 2016. I have massive respect for you all. Much love and much respect as well to you all my brothers and sisters from Nigeria. See you in the near future in Lagos and the rest of Nigeria. They hate their lives and that's why one time this orca attacked and killed the fuck out of a dude because he was being mean shitty person and orcas should not be held in a pool to be watched as it jumps in the air.
