Drew, while sailing across the Indian Ocean in 1995 I got thrown overboard into the ocean and fishermen found me floating in the mid sea and saved my life to the Comoros Island of Anjouan. At dinner with the deputy governor on the big island, Moroni, and feeling overwhelming gratitude for saving my life I made a promise to them that I will name my first child after the Island of Comoros. His wife said to name her Anjouan, since that is the Island I was saved to. My 15 year old daughter's name is Anjouan. My love for the (my) people of the Comoros is beyond imagination. I will give my life for my people of The Comoros any second without a thought.

Yup you’re right, Nutella is a brand under Ferrero, which is Italian. Although culturally Nutella in France is bigger than anywhere else, people are so religious about it that one day it caused a riot in a supermarket because it was on discount 😂

Escape to where? These atolls have a tiny land area. To the south, lies Fiji. To the north lies Kiribati. The sea between has huge currents, and sharks galore.

Pilau is also one of our nation food on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean so it's one of the African food that was very popular and the African diaspora continue cooking pilau and many of the food that our ancestors braught with them to the Caribbean islands and other part of the world.

Yeah, he’s used to speaking to average people (especially Americans), and maybe underestimates the sort of people who seek out videos like this and have of course heard of every country. But the really valuable aspect of so many of Binsky’s videos is his experiences on the ground, with the people and the culture and more. And I appreciate that he’s not afraid to identify negatives when he sees them.

I have heard all of them but thanks for the information of the country, people, culture and economy.

I was so excited to know those 3 hidden country but at the end I was shocked because he considered my country ( Djibouti 🇩🇯) one of them😮😮. I don't think so. Btw I'm moussa from Djibouti, and I can speak FRENCH, ENGLISH, ARABIC and of course my maternal language ( SOMALI language)

The headline of the video says 3 HIDDEN COUNTRIES YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF. Hence some people said they knew/heard of these countries. If your geography is not up to scratch, don't be mad at those who're fine with theirs.

Funny enough I knew Tuvalu was sinking due to global warming, Comoros is divided between France and the local administration which affects its development while Djibouti has been occupied by foreign forces to protect the canal and right if way of ships from the developed nations for quite sometime now

I love geography, but the only one I had heard of was Djibouti! I’m working on memorizing island countries though, so it makes sense.

This is my first public comment on KZread ever. I am absolutely blown away by the courage and the determination of this blogger. I could watch these videos for hours. But I digress I consider myself well educated and well traveled. I have heard of Tuvalu and Djibouti plenty of times and even am familiar with the history of those two places. To my biggest surprise, I have never heard about Comoros. It's so humbling and exciting to realize there is so much we don't really know about right here, on this planet

Im American and find this comment funny. The thing is, you're right. Most Americans think the world is America. On another note, Im a teacher and asked my high school students to point to me Britain on the world map. One student eagerly got up and pointed to Brazil. *face palm* and absolutely ridiculous and sad.

I was born in a very rich of history place called Transylvania. Every plus has it s minuses and the other way around. You have this but you miss that, you have that but you miss this and so on. Most importantly is to have health and strength to make the money and follow your dreams. So keep on dreaming. Being a dreamer is what brought us where we are today.

Yes but most supermarkets in Djibouti are french and the Nutella they sell was targeted to the french market.... so ingredients etc in french

You can always argue that the French Market is 26%, then the Germans and third comes the Italian Market... You can always argue that ingredients come from anywhere except Europe (the nuts?). It's 60% industrial palm oil.... I used to like it as a kid. Now I avoid it for ethics.... Nutella is Italian. Yes butt!
