Listing Description: "This exquisitely built architectural masterpiece by Eric Rosen Architects is situated in the heart of Brentwood and is all about asymmetrical lines. Hidden behind mature landscaping, hedges, and gates, the ultra-modern sleek design of simple geometry was thoughtfully done to create comfortable and modern living spaces. The front of the home is almost entirely covered with grass while the backyard is equipped with a pool and a view of the surrounding landscape including the Getty Center. The sliding doors open wide to create a seamless indoor-outdoor flow with an abundance of cascading, light-filled living spaces built into the hillside. Environmentally-conscious and energy-efficient design elements were incorporated into the home, including a state-of-the-art geothermal heating and cooling system, a solar-powered ion pool, honeycomb radiant floors, and tankless on-demand water heating. Accompanied by superior hand-selected materials and cutting-edge amenities including a private sports court, this beautiful estate stands among the most significant architectural homes on the Westside."

Absolutely my favorite of any house I’ve seen you guys do (outside that cliff house in Mexico *maybe* ) because it actually feels livable for a family, and while modern, it’s not sterile and “hotel-esque”. Not too big, not overwhelming, just a very cool space. There are a few choices I’d have done differently… the astroturfing on the driveway for one, and the second level atrium should’ve had a live wall of greenery and some oversized potted plants vs the view of that concrete retaining wall, but largely this appeals to my esthetic *so* much more than those massive, cold spaces I feel like we see over and over. Great house for a real family. Edited to add.. I LOVE the sight-lines of this house and the way it feels like the top floor is all connected by view, but still functions as separate spaces. Very, very cool choices and again, makes it feel livable on a day-to-day basis.
This is one amazing home. So unique and with so much personality. Kudos to the architect

Wow!!!! Breathtaking!!! This property must be easily at the top 5 most iconic houses list in this channel👏🏼👏🏼 And I want to say the architect made an amazing building and used the all space perfectly; but the interior designer/s carried the house to another level! The building could easily turn to an empty and cold spaceship; but all the art pieces and all things in the house turned it an unique and iconic master piece and also it feels so cosy and homey, hats off to the everyone👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The architect/builder deserve an award. This house is magnificent
It's like modernist architecture with tiny splashes of eco-Brutalist. Eric Rosen did a superb job on his creation. One of the best houses I've seen so far. PS: two things missing though - a grand piano & that telescope on the observation deck.❤❤❤❤
This architect is a genius! The way he designed this house to fit the lot is next level. The night time view of the house is amazing!!

glad you like the house and video!
One of the most interesting and unique designs. Extremely modern yet very homey and inviting with lots of character....need to watch tis video again to fully appreciate the details.
Randomly thought "this is the perfect set for a murder movie"

There are so many opportunities to fall down one of the hundreds of stairs "accidentally." The architect just went nuts with the stairs. You do not want to visit this house if you're in a wheel chair.

This is THE BEST house I have ever seen. An Architectural Beauty. Wonderful. We got a Great tour. Covered each and every detail very well.
Some of the best unique details I’ve ever seen in a home. Amazing.
This house reminds me of an MC Esher art piece. The whole design is based on perspective, and how we see distances. It’s all about extending the view, creating ways of artificially lengthening our visual perspective. The angles are all slightly offset so no matter you stand, your view seems longer that it actually is. Some people that will love environments like that, others could actually feel ill because the visual distortion will throw off their equilibrium, it would feel like walking through the house with constant vertigo.

I imagine being in the space physically as opposed to watching on a screen, that any disorienting feeling would lessen somewhat. Our eyes process spaces we are in and apart of differently that seeing it in 2 dimensions. That said, you’re dead on about the perspective and flow, and I love how connected and organic it makes the spaces feel. Much more livable than so many of the hotel type spaces we see.
I hope you never have a bad knee or ankle living in this house.

Enes... Core E Ann. Corian countertops. Another stunner youve shown us. Starting in on our new home and finding a plethora of ideas in this one.
Music was really good on this episode. Long time watcher. You and Mikey are next level. Please upload more.
Love the architecture of this house, although is it just me who thinks the interior design looks a little dated? Great tour as always though Enes and Mikey :)

It isn't just dated, it is lacking any coherence. Just look at the outdoor furniture. How many sets have they tossed together? That tacky neon sign on the inside, "trust the process" is an abomination? Jesus. Money can't buy taste.

@@TheBradBradish so, i had only watched the first half of the video when i wrote that comment. and i do like the first floor interior. but the bedrooms were done horribly. as far as the outdoor furniture, it's just meh and unoffensive; they were creating multiple outdoor zones.

@@jamierose1286Thats fair, I was only commenting from personal taste, I prefer the more bright and "modern" look like the one Enes toured 3 weeks ago in Corona del Mar. But the brown chairs etc and the dark wood in some places to me just looks really outdated. Then again a lot of people think the bright white houses have no character etc so it's all down to personal taste
Wow these architect-designed "futuristic" homes normally looks so outdated. This doesn't! In fact, it has aged very well! Thank you Enes & Mikey for a great tour.
