I've never seen an airport that combines so much tradition and culture in a world class modern building! Have you met the robot yet or taken one of the free transit tours?

What a beautiful world class airport. South Korea a small country doing amazing things. I wish my country will learn from them on infrastructural development.

So beautiful. Modernity of the XXI century combined with culture and traditions. Possibility to take a showers, the robot Airstar making a guide to help travelers. The Royal quards ceremony - ( changing ) at Airport....and many another things. So interesting. Thanks 😊❤

you're welcome! Incheon airport is indeed amazing and you could easily spend a few hours here just exploring. No need to fear if you are on a long layover too!

I went to the Philippines in 2013 and had a long layover at the Incheon Airport, both coming and going. On my return flight I had a 12 hour wait for my next flight. I was very impressed with the Koreans. I fell in love with the Hanbok dresses that the ladies wore at the cultural center. Also, it was my first experience on the international flight from Seattle to Incheon with Korean Air. It was the best airline I have ever flown with. The stewardess's bowed when you boarded and departed the plane. Very high class.

Definitely extend your trip if you're able to because they used to have free day tours that bring you out to the city although I'm not sure that's still available due to covid. If the tours aren't available then you can easily spend the time by exploring the airport!

Hi Danica, yup! The nap rooms and showers are available 24 hours in the transit area of airport. You’ll miss them if you decide to go through immigration and enter the country.

i have a question because our airport when we arrived at seoul its the SEOUL GIMPO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, then we have 22 hours lay over but we are arriving 10:15 pm, after that next flight will be SEOUL INCHEON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT at 8:40 pm, where should I book the free transit tour because it's different airport and I checked its far from each other? Thanks

You can take the AREX Train from Gimpo To Incheon Airport, journey takes 38 minutes and there's a train leaving every 15 minutes. You need to book the tour online via its official website then be at the counter at least 30 minutes before the tour starts.

Yup, because korea has opened its borders since april 1.

i will transit to korea for 10 hours do i need visa to take the touring?

Nope because the transit tour does not mean you are entering the country.

Is there an area that allows smoking?

Hi Rich, yes there are designated areas for smoking in all terminals. They are also accessible 24 hours a day so you will be able go for a smoke regardless of when you’re in the airport. Hope this helps!

With philippine passport, do i need k-eta to go arounf incheon airport?

Can you explain what you mean by “go around” incheon? Are you in transit only or are you entering korea?
