how do we get out from the airport after arriving to Incheon? I have a 14 hours layover and I want to explore Hongdae area but I checked the transit tours and the day that we are arriving, there's no Hongdae tour availabe. Are we gonna follow the transfer sign?

I'm sorry for the super late reply! You should ask any worker or information kiosk for 'hanjin' (the company that handles this) and say you want to check in your luggage!

I really enjoyed the video as it was very detailed and informative!! Though i enjoyed the dubbing over clips, i might suggest investing in a pop filter so that your recordings dont pop when you pronounce certain words😅 cool video regardless thanks for sharing!!

Do you know if I need to stay at the airport transit hotel, do I clear custom when I check out in the morning to go to Seoul?

How did you get to yeonnam from the station? Did you walk? Or did you ride a bus at all for this itinerary?

As someone living in Korea, I don’t carry any cash around. You can pay for almost everything with a credit card! Maybe I would exchange $20 for emergency situations? Hope I’m not too late with the reply! 😀

According to the official k-eta site, Indonesia isn't included in the list of countries with k-eta exemption. I think you need to apply for a k-eta! www.k-eta.go.kr/portal/apply/index.do?locale=EN

Hii! I'll be arriving at 5pm and will have a 21 hour layover. Is it manageable to walk or ride the bus by myself to the nearest market? Just want to experience the Korean night market 😊

Super sorry for the late reply :( Walking def isn't possible. But with the help of google maps or a tourist kiosk at the airport, you can probably go to gwangjang market by bus (about 1~2 hour to get there)

Hi! So, I’ll be arrive to INC airport for an 11 hour layover to Seattle. Am I able to leave the airport during the layover no visa or K-ETA just a US passport?

Hi! Based on my research and experience from other people recently, you can go outside the airport without a korean visa as long as you have a valid US visa and directly going to the US afterwards.

Oh and if you're a US passport holder you wont need the k-eta visa anymore since they exempted US since last year.

May I ask where did you left your big baggages? I’m having a transit layover in korea going to canada

I'm sorry for the late reply! There is a baggage check in service at the airport(3rd floor of terminal 1 on the rear side of M gate, ask for hanjin taekbae) or you can use a baggage shop in Hongdae Station ( There's one right near exit 3 - you can't miss it)

Indians do not require a visa to transit through the Republic of Korea at the following conditions: If the transit time is less than 24 hours at Incheon International Airport, Seoul. (as of Oct. 2023) I recommend you check if there are any updates to this policy! :)
