Bicycle Ride - In order to really blend in with Danish culture in Copenhagen, you need to go around the city by bicycle. So on day one of our visit to Copenhagen, we jumped into a bicycle cart, and rode over the park. #Copenhagen #Denmark
Frederiksberg Have - Copenhagen has lots of beautiful parks, and we strategically went to one called Frederiksberg Have because it wasn’t far from where we were staying, and there was a restaurant I really wanted to try in the area.
Hansens Gamle Familiehave (goo.gl/maps/hxY3GdoVEg18h1PZA) - I love legendary classic restaurants, and Hansens Gamle Familiehave is about as historical and classic as Danish restaurants in Copenhagen get. I went straight for the Hansens lunch platter, which included two platters - first the cold appetizers like herring, and next the hot dishes like pork. Total bill for this huge Danish lunch platter - 718 DKK ($106.43)
Hey Captain (www.heycaptain.dk/) - One of the attractions I was most interested in doing during my time in Copenhagen, was to take a boat Copenhagen Canal Tour. Thanks to Visit Copenhagen and Hey Captain, for taking me on this fantastic and luxurious canal boat tour of Copenhagen. The drinks made it even better. Amazing boat tour, highly recommended in Copenhagen.
Folkehuset Absalon (goo.gl/maps/Sjq2tUUrg9LsRa6k9) - Finally for dinner we went o Folkehuset Absalon, a former church that has been opened as a community center coffee shop, and a family style restaurant at dinner. The place is packed every night, people come looking for a social dining atmosphere, sharing tables, and delicious home cooked styles Danish food. Food was delicious. Price - 100 DKK ($14.82)
And that wraps up this tour of Copenhagen, including Danish food and attractions!

The thing I love the most about Mark is that he is so open and have so much passion. It doesn't´t matter what country he is in. He always want to know about the people, country and tradition. I really enjoy that about his channel.
Our waiter is so nice aswell.. the waiter' no rice' 🙄 as a Dane I like to think that he tried to be funny but he forgot to think before he spoke.. love your videos Mark❤️
I love that you eat your smørrebrød with your fingers. 😂 Normally we don't do that when we are at a restaurant, but we definitely do it at home. So in a way we are happy that you feel home in Denmark ❤️🇩🇰

I frankly as a Dane always use a fork and knife eating smørrebrød even at home😉😂
Mark and Ying I have to thank you so very much. I have been mostly housebound from illness. You don't know how much your videos do for people. I probably will never travel again and to see you three experiencing life I in so many beautiful places is just inspiring. It's as if we are there with you. Thank you for what you do and who you all are!

The “sweet mustard” is Remoulade. It’s like our national cucumber version of ketchup. We eat it in burgers, we dip our fries in it, with sausages and then with multiple types of fish. As a Dane it makes me so proud to see someone enjoy a trip in our country. Thank you for keeping such a positive attitude and open mind🇩🇰🥰

You only not a food blogger, but you’re travel blogger, too. Food and travel go hand in hand. Thank you for the tips. Leaning a lot.
That was amazing. The food so different. My dear husband was 1/4 Danish. I wish I could have shown him this. Denmark looks wonderful. His family emigrated to New Zealand in the 1800s when the Germans took over where they lived. He knew one word, I think it was for a pudding. It sounded a little like Glockendespch 😂 can anyone have a guess of what it might have been. He used to say it to make me laugh when we were young bu then he forgot it as he grew old. Thanks for the posting.
I love seeing you push your family around. Shows what kind of husband/father you are. An excellent example.
Thank U so much @Mark Abroad, Family & Team as applicable for sharing this wonderfully joyful and happily passionate culinary adventure with us!! I was blessed to be married in Denmark and the people there were so amazing and kind and considerate and thoughtful and the food was amazing and I just really appreciate this video Mark et al… wonderful, peaceful, joyful & delicious blessings to you & all and to everybody and everything everywhere! When traveling, expectations and assumptions should be expected. Respect and learn about the culture beforehand, keep a smile like Mark and you'll be fine. Enjoy yourself. For many of us, these are once in a lifetime opportunities. I wouldn't let anyone or anything ruin it for me. Love your videos, Mark. You have a beautiful family. Great attitude. I love traveling, too. Blessings to all of you.

Danish smørrebrød (open sandwich) is tasty and very traditional for lunch. I just wished the waiter or your guide had showed you to put it together to get the most out of it. Glad you enjoyed Copenhagen, its a unique place.
