Tour de Fleece day 3 | Techniques for making colorful art batts on a drum carder
Welcome to Tour de Fleece Day 3: making art batts for spinning yarn using a drum carder! In this video, I made more of the art batts I used to spin the art yarn that I spun in my Tour de Fleece video from day 2.
I am out of space on my phone, so I can’t edit this video on my editing software, unfortunately. I hope you like it, anyway!
Here’s the video where I spun the yarn from day 2: • Tour de Fleece Day 2 H...

@@jenniferbrighty5120 Thanks Jen! I’m doing all right. Getting back on KZread and doing fiber art has been good for me. It gives me a nice distraction and something productive to do. Thanks for all your lovely comments. I really appreciate it.
Lovely art batts.💖 I’m pretty sure your drum carder teeth shoot be touching and causing that grinding sound.

The instructions when I set it up said I should be able to fit a credit card between the drums, and I am able to do that. To me, it sounds like a lot of other videos I’ve seen where people use manual drum carders.
