Total Rugby - Brad Thorn

Спорт

Total Rugby caught up with the All Blacks lock forward to talk about a career that's been anything but conventional. A dual internationalist, capped for New Zealand in rugby union, as well as Australia in rugby league. In 2001, he became only the 2nd known person to turn down the opportunity to play for the All Blacks.

Greatest League to Union convert. And the man who put the steel back into the AB's.

Australia loves and respects you mate. Just wish you were still playing with us. Have a good world cup. You are always welcome home, our side of the ditch. You are still an honorary Queenslander and Australian.

Obviously he would be sick of State of Origin and Bledisoe Cup, as both of those teams he represented in those contests are actually slaughtering NSW and Wallabies respectively

@maxguarda Good Point! Lets face it its a high impact sport, that you have to play full of adrenaline and rage to some degree. These incidents have happened yes, but a AB wont go looking to harm a player, well, illegally! lol im a welshman, and hate(aswell as admire) Mccaw for cheating... No team can shine a light into the past 10 years and come out clean, its going to happen with frustration.

This video's so cute. The way it depicts his rugby yawnion career as the real deal instead of what it really is: his post-(real) footy retirement.
