Notably the 300 kg squat he actually performed at a powerlifting meet in 2016, he weighed in at about 87 kg. This is still the Japanese record in the JPA (Japanes Powerlifting Association) for the -93 kg class. Currently this squat puts him tied for 29th among IPF -93s, and tied for 32nd among -90 kg lifters in all feds.

I'm confused, there's a lot of comment about him not doing things "properly". *After watching the video*, common sense tells me he's working on movements that leads up to the clean & jerk + snatch; for the best optimal weight in each area. I'm wondering, is there THAT many people that lifts 300kg+ that DOESN'T know what they're doing? I'm sure this guy is elite, why are people questioning his training so much? Is he actually doing things wrong? I just don't see it lol.
