Torres del Paine Photography Locations

In this video we visit the Explora Lagoon, Rio Serrano, Lago Grey, and Mirador Cuernos. These are only 4 of the multiple different areas you can explore in TDP. It was also our only good weather day and therefore we wanted to try and make the most of it. There are also additional good woodland locations near Rio Serrano which I think is a bit of a fail safe for when the weather turns bad.
I don't go into too much specific detail on logistics but if you're keen to know exact map locations you can google the four mentioned and get good results. Except for maybe Explora Lagoon. Search Explora hotel instead. You'll see the boardwalk and lagoon.
Next up is the final part of this four part series. It's electric. Comedy at it's best. Cringe worthy. See you there!

I love when you and Brendan get together for a few videos. And not just because of the Canadian thing. You guys have great chemistry together... and speaking of chemistry with someone, when are you and Nellie going to do a video together. You two were one of the best KZread couples when you did videos like your whats in my camera bag, Nellie won that one, and when you both made the Korean meal!

Peter!! Thanks man. Good times on tour with BvS that's for sure. Yes Nellie is living her best life and her focus has changed from YT. She still loves the camera but has less interest in making videos which is totally understandable.

I just came back from a few weeks in TdP, including a photo group like this, all of these locations, staying in Rio Serrano, even losing a hat to the wind. It’s like re-living my trip, only I don’t have to see myself on camera 😂 I literally cannot get enough of TdP, and even though I just left there, watching you guys have a great time makes me even more excited to go back again in the future. Also, on my first solo trip to El Chalten in 2020, your videos were really helpful, so just wanted to say thanks!

What a spectacular place Greg!! You captured some beautiful images there. I know that feeling when suddenly the tripod and camera take a dive, in wind I often keep one hand on the tripod at all times after my 2nd tumbe that damaged my camera & L series 70-200mm lens. Both repaired and insured. You never know when a gust of wind is going to hit you! Great work Greg!!

Hi Brian, yeah Brendan was saying a lot of the trails are unaccessible pre dawn, so no trekking at night to photograph astro or sunrise. Only some though and I'm not exactly sure how many or which ones. We would have to ask the CONAF staff on arrival next season.
