Toronto Zoo Polar Bear Cub Introduced to Snow for the First Time
Born on November 9th 2013, our adorable cub is currently residing in the Wildlife Health Centre. During his stay, our newest polar bear family member will be under the intensive eyes of our dedicated veterinarians, veterinarian technicians and keeper staff. The Wildlife Health Centre supports over 500 species annually and is in the process of undergoing a much needed modernization. That cub is saying "It's bloody cold in here. Get me back inside".
He is the coolest bear on the planet right now. He is still too young to know that he is supposed to like snow.
he's like "THIS IS COLD! LET ME BACK IN!"
Damn is he ever cute. How we take animals for granted is so sad. It's only a matter of time before we as humans regret it.
OMG I cannot stop smiling at this little guy. So damn cute.
Looks and behaves almost like an animatronic puppet in some ways, very interesting.

I was expecting it to frolic and bound around in the snow. Oh well, maybe next time it snows it'll be more matured to actually frolic. :)

Actually that isn't true. They are born in maternity dens while the mother is over-wintering in a state similar to hibernation and they do not emerge from the dens for about three months.

He's too young to know what's going on. All he knows is he's been left in some wet cold stuff.
Everyone should know tht we were like the polar cub at one point, we all have hard time once then we get used to it so its alright for this polar bear to face the cold during its infant state because it will take time to getting used to

Last year we had the same thing here in Buffalo with our PBC Luna. Once she got used to the snow she hopped around chasing her handlers. Trust me friend he'll get used to the snow fast, and within five-six months believe me he going to be a BIG boy. lol

And they would be. But a HUMAN hunter KILLED Aurora and Nikita's mother. they would be dead had the zoo not taken them in and raised them to be happy and beautiful bears.

Yeah, right because polar bears living in a zoo are VERY likely to charge at you. Beware, it's danger number one, forget the traffic and health issues... Pff..
