That's exactly what it is - both these and the Mk1 Skytrains in Vancouver, BC are the UTDC ICTS Mk1 trains. Toronto does not have Mk2 or Mk3 trains as they are too long to negotiate the curve at Kennedy Station. Furthermore the line is set to be replaced in the next five years by an extended subway from Kennedy and also (tentatively) a new streetcar route.

The platforms aren't large enough, there aren't enough cars and the Mk1s are no longer produced. Mk2s and Mk3s cannot be accommodated due to the platforms and the tight curve at Kennedy station. Eventually the line will need to be modified for three-car Mk3 trains, or demolished altogether. Unfortunately I see the latter option being the most likely.
