After watching the oilers last night it seems they have it out for canadian teams, clear high stick, it only took 5 mins to see it over and over, he touched it. Nhl will get their 7 games for the money. That's all it really is is for the $$$$$$. No canadian team will see a cup this year or any time soon.

For those who dont think Matthews is dealing with that hand or wrist injury nagging him is crazy. Hes a totally different player/ His shot has really suffered. and you dont see him taking those slapshot one timers he used to take on the pp. After this playoffs i bet it comes out hes dealing with something that may even require surgury.

Cernak hasn’t skated at all since gm1 until you see him at least in some morning skates I cant see him returning for 3 or 4. I can’t imagine they’re just hiding him somewhere and it’ll just be “Ta Da!!! Cernak in tonight”. But who knows this is Cooper we’re talking about lol

The amount of calls per egregious infraction go down in the playoffs. That is more the problem than the total amount called.

I wouldnt be the least bit surprized to see lilgren or even gusty come in and replace Holl. Thats the reason why Dubas made the move for all these extra defencemen,.. to use them. Keefe will want to throw as many looks at the lightning to thwart the lightnings ability to make adjustments to slow them down. If i had to guess.... Hedman is in tonight. and a 60% Hedman is still way better then not having him in and moving other guys up

We just need to play well, you can blame the refs all you like and it is warranted because some calls are rough haha but the Toronto still needs to show up and if they play how well they did in game 2 their going to be tough to beat.

It doesn't matter to me whether Matthews scores or not. Every second he is on the ice is a danger to his opponents and the extra attention he draws helps every teammate he shares the ice with.

Why? What if the team who wins tonight loses the next game. Then it’s even and a 2 out of 3. Why would the game 3 winner have an advantage in games 5, 6, or 7?

@BurtTurbo It's Toronto, Sports biggest choke artists. Let me redo my post. If Tampa loses, they still win the series. If the Leafs lose, they will lose the series. Year after year, the LEAFS are the better team, but still lose.. Remember Columbus and Montreal. Then you're up on Boston, and they score 4 goals to beat you. Last year, you should have beat Tampa, but you didn't. Why. Every time Toronto dominates a game, they usually lay an egg after. Somehow, your team will find a way to lose. They can't handle the media/fan pressure. Until Toronto proves me wrong and actually wins a series 2004 was a long long long long time ago. Good luck.

@DownTownSports98 maybe his back is bothering plus his knee, which I've seen people speculating on. If he's missing playoff Games for it it's definitely not minor I'd assume. Back tightness or a back injury would make sence though

He had no one but himself to be pissed at.

So truth be told the Leafs need to stay out of the dam box stop getting sucked in to bad penalties that usually end up burning them.

Leave it to leafs fans get blown out in game 1 and game 2 the lightnings best defensive defenseman. They aren’t going to feed the “lightning lunch”

there is no place for lijegren at the table his play late in the season cost him a shot in the lineup GIO AND HOLL LOOKED SOLID in game 2 and no way schenn sits snd 7/11 well after last game sorry role all 4 lines , and you contradicted yourself the whistles DO go away as the games get more meaningful

@@noremac0575 why do people think just because a player is better he's more valuable , liljegren had a bad and I mean bad last month of the season and Holl is much more valuable on the PK so because Keefe loves Holl he's not taking him out of the lineup period
