@@TheBonsaiGarden Everyone kills their first tropical (or 2). You just need the right species for your environment and lifestyle. The big difference for me was setting up grow lights. Everyone lived happily ever after when I did that..

Awesome purchases...that Premna is so easy to propagate...everytime you cut a branch, stick it to the ground and it will surely live...🙂

Jay, One is an Elaeagnus angustifolia (Russian Olive) grown from a seed collected at Ray’s last year in the fall and the other is a conifer seeding that grew in my yard.

Nice update, Jay! You managed to get quite a few more interesting trees! Wow! The pyracanthas have grown soo much! I’m glad that you could share the results of this growing season with many friends! Always impressed by the quality of the trees in the subscribers pics section! Let’s see if I can take some as well, but lately I’ve been spending too much time on trains…

I could have sent you some of that from myy fence...and trees...and garden waste bin. It is such a pain and so invasive over here. It is so much better when you get a tree that has a history for you. I love that final oval pot. I may struggle to get to the sale because the trains are on strike :)
