If you want to support:
The fact that you are watching the videos and care about the music and future of Wintergatan is the best support anyone can have, I want to thank everyone who is here for that kind of support, it is really the fuel for the Wintergatan Engine.
If you apart from that further want to support the projects, we have these different options set up:
KZread SPONSOR

Why do we accept support in this way?
I, Martin, can already sustain myself 100% doing what I love to do. If you want to support artists/organisations who have not yet reached that privileged position, please consider supporting other artists/organisations who need the support more. With that said, I have too many ideas and too little time and with your support I can get more help from people around me to execute the ideas better and bring them out in the world faster. I like to really turn up my volume for this performance to really get a sense of how it felt to listen to when you are there. At lower volumes the tinny sounds feel muted, but at a higher volume you get a real sense of the pure music pounding against your eardrums in that small hall.

We have only three more shows on the tour this weekend and directly after that we are starting on producing two new records. One calm more minimalistic and one more uptempo/ full on! So then you can choose moods on your way home... I'm really looking forward to focus only on the music, so no more building or touring and more producing music for those bad days!!

Okay, this is absolutely not what I meant. Please do me/us a favour once you're here and appreciate Wintergatan for their music or don't respond at all. I don't see the connection between my comment and the political situation in Sweden. I'm sure they are not the ones who are responsible for that, they are musicians not politicans. So please, just find another place for this. Thank you!

Noémi Jánossy Frankly, it is an existential crisis, not a political one. of course I am not holding wintergartan responsible, I just see beauty and fear for it being snuffed out resulting from the pathological altruism of the European peoples, or perhaps just because of the selfishness or foolishness of their leaders, I'm not sure. When you extend generosity and kindness to some, they reciprocate, when you do so to muslims, they just see weakness and an opportunity to take advantage. Now they breeding at rates far and away above natives, all subsidized by the labor of the natives. First the colonize, then they conquer, all they have to do is become a majority and vote Shari into law.

Oh that song is so good to listen. I also liked very very much the scenary. The red and blue lights with black clothes made it perfect, instead of that show of colors and lights blinking all the way around. The small amount of filter on the film to make it a little yellow is perfect mixed. For the second part the lightblue only color with perfect blinking following the song, along with the very simple background, black with a drawing of one of ur machines, instead of LED huge panels, combining with those 3D like floating stars on the ceiling. Gives a "space"/sci-fi feeling Get all this with amazing sound quality and an excelent cameraman with steadycam geting up and down in the stage everytime without shaking the camera, and my friend, you have a quite excelent set up there. Amazing piece of music. I'm tottaly playing this while playing Elite Dangerous. I wish i could watch one of your shows, but sadly i'm too far away and have no enough money to do it.

Whistling accurately is SUPER hard to do while recording, and even harder during live performances - David has gotten pretty damned good at it. Freaking awesome Tornado. I have an Audacity-modified version of Valentine that makes it loop on itself for 30 minutes - it's always been one of my favorite Wintergatan tunes. Please don't stop doing what you're doing anytime soon.

Wow. The guitar intro adds another new facet to "Tornado". To me, Tornado always sounded like the soundtrack of a Western movie, but with this intro it's more like a part of a much larger story - a story to be told in a concept album? Like "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" or "The Wall" (yet not as dark)? Please? Varsågod?

I really like the way these kids build their music, and what they consider instruments. The typewriter, the marble machines, whistling, all of it, considering how they process the sounds they're creating. I grew up in the 70s/80s, and loved the chaos of Industrial Music. These kids bring melodic and harmonic order to that style, and I love it.

This sounds like a western and a space song that would be featured on an indie game about space cowboys and aliens. It's just beyond amazing
