    My current tucson has rear window shades it has second row ac digital control as trizone ac. So there does seem to be kit missing .

    Hi there again, thank you so much for your prompt reply. If the boot opening dimensions are big enough, I will surely buy the Santa Fe. The height of the boot opening is the deal breaker for me because I want to load in my mini motorcycle. If you could, I would be grateful too if you could please measure the depth of the boot with all seats folded down except for the front passenger and driver seats. I intend to buy the 5 seater Santa Fe as I don’t really need a 7 seater. Please keep up the good work in you video posting. Well done with the iKamper video. I am really hoping Hyundai will also bring the iKamper into Europe as an accessory option. Looking forward to your review of the Santa Fe Hybrid because this would be the one I will be going for if my mini motorcycle fits in !! Many thanks again.

    Big question mark on why they couldnt or wouldnt put them turn signals just with the rear lights. As you said, it would have lookes soo much better! That international regulations part seems not legit, other brands have turn signals in the rearlights too

    Hi there, a happy new year to you and your Mrs. Please believe me, I have viewed all your videos on Santa Fe (and Pallisade), but for the life of me, I can’t find the measurements of the trunk opening of the Santa Fe. I see you were holding a measurement tape in your hands but you never actually took any measurement of the opening into the boot. What I mean is the height and width of the opening after the trunk is opened up. I need to be able to load a mini motorcycle into the boot space, and so, I need to know the height of the opening (not the height of the trunk from the ground!). Hope you appreciate what I am asking, because the Santa Fe is still not available in Europe. Please help if you could. Many many thanks.

    I have not seen any comments regarding the storage spaces in the doors panel. I have a Tucson HEV from 2021 and I was hoping that with this facelift it would make bigger storage spaces. It seems to me that the front doors are slightly modified compared to the previous model, but they are still quite small. The rear doors have not changed anything! I find it embarrassing that they didn't think about that. If you sit in the back and next to a small bottle of water you would also like to store other objects (a phone for example) you have no other option just only to put it in the basket of the backrest of the front seat. Honestly, there was room for better in this aspect!

    Regarding the Hidden Assistant Door Handle, I am a little concerned about it not shaking and making rattle noise over time. Is there a drain for incoming rain or washing water and dirt? 🤔

    Yep, covered it a few times already on my previous vids - not blaming you, just stating it. The answer: Doesn't rattle at all, it is super tight when locked. It doesn't have to be the key that came with the car, anything that you can stick inside and rotate, it will lock/unlock. It's completely safe bc you can only access it when the second row door is open. Yep, there is drain, which drips out of the door panel. Dirt getting in there, you'd need some pressured water spray.

    I'm from Taiwan. The Tucson L from Hyundai is a recently very well-selling car in the modern automotive market. Despite being an older model (2022), its popularity is quite remarkable for Hyundai cars in Taiwan, especially for the hybrid version. At its peak demand, buyers have to wait for over half a year after payment to receive their cars. However, the biggest complaint and concern, as mentioned in the video, is the uncomfortable placement of the turn signals at the rear. Many people find it too low, making it difficult for vehicles behind to see the turn signals when in close proximity. In response to this, there are some car modification shops in Taiwan that offer solutions. For the Tucson L, they provide a modification that connects the brake lights with the turn signals. When the turn signals flash, one of the brake lights will also flash simultaneously to enhance the warning effect. It's hard to imagine that Hyundai did not make improvements to address this issue. On the contrary, in the new version, it has been changed to a lower position...

    How much does the coefficient of drag change with the active air flaps open? Any idea how often the flaps need to be open and/or what affect it has on mileage when open?

    I don't have that number with me, but since Hyundai works lowering that digit down to 1,000th; the front Active Air Flap alone would compromise a lot of the Cd, which will also better the mpg for certain.

    It works automatically, will open and close accordingly to the condition. i.e., AAF on EVs will open up when charging the battery when too hot and close when too cold, etc.

    Putting aside the money the Santa Fe wins definitely. Other thing in this vid & the previous one , I started to like the front fascia of the facelifted Tuscan. I didn't like it before though.

    I am waiting for Santa Fe sales to start in the Czech Republic. BUT! Why doesn't it have the same headlights as the Tucson 2025? I have them on my Sportage hybrid and it's a great asset. What headlights does the Sorento have? Now I don't know whether to wait for the first facelift, whether the Santa Fe will have matrix headlights... :-(

    @@CarSceneKorea But bad decision. :-D I want to buy a SantaFe instead of my existing Subaru Outback. My second car is a KIA Sportage AWD Hybrid. It's strange to me that the Sportage (and Tucson 2025) has a better trim option than the Sorento / SantaFe. I have 3 zone air conditioning and matrix lights in the Sportage. In Europe, the Sorento / SantaFe is the flagship, so I would expect the best equipment...

    I still prefer Hyundai to not make all its models with the same design, but different size like the German brands do nowadays... Having different design for Kona, Tucson and Santa Fe is something I really like about Hyundai.

    What is the difference in step-in height between the two? I know the Tucson is essentially identical to my Santa Cruz, which my wife has no problem getting in and out of. If the Santa Fe is much taller to step into, that could be an issue. I've been on the wait list for a Tucson Hybrid for almost a year now ... but the more I see the Santa Fe, the more I'm thinking we should go that way instead. The extra space would be really nice on vacations.

    It certainly is taller, but I do not have the car to measure and give you the precise number now, sry. It sure does feel like you are stepping inside a next-class vehicle being the size, the vibe you get from the moment you open up the door, etc. If a few centimeter could be a problem for your wife, I wouldn't recommend risking it. Santa Fe is much closer to being a Palisade(with the current model before the all-new model) than a Tucson.

    @@CarSceneKorea Thanks for the reply! She had mentioned before that she really liked the look of the Palisade, but it was much bigger in person than when she saw the photos. I'm hoping my dealer will call me when he gets his Santa Fe demo in. He was expecting it early next month. A few centimetres may not be a big deal, or it could be just enough to put her off of it. I think she might really like it though. :)

    Not for domestic models, but the US; North American market would be getting them. Cross check with your local dealership.

    I was expecting the developers to fix it, but in vain: low rear turning light position on the Tucson face-lift is a complete deal breaker for me. Period.

    I was just sitting in the traffic with left blinker on. The car behind me was really close and I could see the light from my blinker reflecting from the face of the driver behind me... I have put much more powerful LED bulbs, maybe that also helps, but I don't think there is a real issue regarding the safety in traffic. On the other hand, when you take for example the new Santa Fe... I think it's rear lights position, being so low in general makes it quite ugly. This is a much bigger deal-braker for me.

    @@grasho powerfull led bulb might solve the problem of visibility when driving on open road (still, how is it possible to have a non led bulb in 2024 in a car, let alone a face lift version?), but in close distance city traffic there are serious safety issues, no matter what the manufacturer says about that being OK with safety regulations. E.g. the rider of a motorcycle moving behind on the lane next to yours does not expect to see the turning light under your bumper when you start changing your lane. These fractions of a sec can make the difference. On TUCSON they could have placed the rear turning light on the main tail light strip. On SANTA FE though, it was inevitable to place them all low since the designer's priority was to make the tailgate as wide as possible. Nevertheless, this is also troublesome by safety standars out there.

    @@CarSceneKorea the design is fine.Yet, IMHO, If you get people that know nothing about cars to chose which version is the facelift, I am sure they will select the old one. And I do think that the old one is better looking. But let us not forget that this is a transportation mean for you and your family. And not all people are ok with such silly choices when it comes to safety issues, just because the manufacturer didn't want to install 1 more meter of wire or add 2 more leds to the tail lights. This is a disgrace by 2024 car manufacturing standards.

    Sta. Fe and Tucson are no longer brothers. It will be Sta Fe and Palisade already, but if i would choose between the two, i would still choose the tucson. I am not a big fan of that boxy-styled look. I hope hyundai would not make tucson exterior style as the new Sta. Fe.

    You have a great point. I really did feel like Santa Fe is far closer to Palisade than Tucson, and Tucson closer to Kona.

    I wish they didnt do the minubus look of the Santa fe rear lights design. It could have been a "poor mans" Range Rover, but this way it is like a minivan,

    La parte trasera del Santa Fe es más fea, que pegarle a un padre. El frontal está bien. El Tucson es precioso, pero por dentro decepcionó un poco por el cuadro de instrumentos.

    Well, i purchased the 2023 model 5 months ago. These new changes are so “subtle” it’s not even notice… They slightly change the front view lights (only) One of the issues i found with 2023 model was the rear indicator lights were too low… On this new model they lower them even more!! This is not good!! The new tech added is a bonus but not enough for me to stay with Hyundai as they changed the only feature they caught my attention and that was their screen/dash integration unique to Hyundai!!! Why they did not keep this sleek and compact design amazes me… instead they change it for a very basic tacky and clumsy design… I hear tgis new model has onboard camara recording, which is the best upgrade but because of this horrible interior I’ll be trading for a different make next year..

    If you already have the all-new Tucson, the facelift won't be all that appealing for an upgrade, but sure came out nice!

    Sante fe could be a really nice car if it wasn't that ugly rear design, Tucson same but front grill design, i don't understand why korean designers can't make 1 model which look good front, back and side profile, if one part is good the other will be ugly, just look at new Hyundai Kona for example, it was nice car but now totally ruined by these ugly front and back designs
