What would be a good replacement for Daken

I am having a blast playing him. I was never a Toxic player before but he has made me a believer. Does it feel super competitive?...No. Is he super fun to play? ABSOLUTELY.

I think you just need more practice with it. I think it's viable in this meta. But, it's got a high skill requirement which requires playing it a lot. Keep having fun, dude!

Hey Cozy, this is a VERY fun deck to play, and also: I love that Man-thing brings Lady Deathstrike into some relevance. I've wanted to see the card buffed (again) to 4/4 or 5/5, but I'm glad for the time-being I can fit a fun mechanic into the game. I didn't watch every game, but using Lady Deathstrike on their Luke Cage is the evil bliss I need to get through my Wednesdays.

I'm only buying him for his spotlight variant in December

I was PackAttackCB in the first game. I told my gf who plays the game that I got destroyed by Cozy and couldn't wait to see the video. Living Tribunal lacks the tools to handle a toxic deck, especially when it's piloted by Cozy. Good game!

I couldn’t resist picking him up, but I’m still pretty new to the game and don’t quite have what I need to build a deck around him yet. I think I will enjoy diving into toxic eventually, but I am loving discard for now.

Discard along with destroy are my favorites. But when Luke cage/hazmat combo was at my disposal I really loved it. So I can't wait until you get them. Happy snapping my friend.

Pair him with nebula (if you have), Hobgoblin and Deredevil. Put a enchantress in to counter Luke Cage. Shadow King, armor is strong to counter other decks. Colossus plus Hulk Buster /& Forge could work very well. Polaris is also welcome. Eventually Juggernaut could work. Some other ongoing cards (Goose, Lizard, Cosmo f.e.) and you can but a spectrum on top. Mystique could copy his ongoing - maybe something to work with.

Cozy, that Evo Man-Thing deck is a lot of fun. I just earned a Gold ticket in Conquest and I'll keep playing later today to see how far I can get. The Evo combination actually adds another play-line if the debuff component doesn't work out.

I like that this kinda deck is pretty high skillcap and also has good counterplay. Makes games really interesting, especially in conquest.

I'm not a huge disrupt fan, but I did already have a solid ongoing control deck which utilizes Wong for double uses of Hazmat and Spectrum, and I had enough credits, so I went ahead and bought Man-Thing and slotted him in there. It works well in that deck, but it does beg for Zabu, which can be pretty risky in the current meta. The best thing about the deck is that putting down Nebula or Lizard in a lane usually entices the opponent to put early cards there, which makes them easy pickings for Man-Thing. Gotta have Rogue; good call on her.

I was sitting on 6 spotlight cache’s and am only missing 5 cards (including Silver Samurai) so I took a gamble and managed to pull Man Thing on the first. Looking forward to trying this out

I went ahead and spent Spotlight caches to get him. It was the only week in the foreseeable future that I don’t have any of the cards featured. Went ahead and dropped 3 and got all 3 and not the variant (thank god). I wish Iron Lad would get another run in the cache. Him and Mirage are the two most relevant cards that I don’t have. Other then those it’s stuff like Negasonic, Howard, 2099 that I don’t have.

Spun a spotlight to see if I'd get lady before deciding to buy manthing with tokens. I got manthing, could have been worse. So I spun again for lady and got her. Gassed. Can't wait to try them out later. No one seems to have mentioned how fire all the upcoming variants for manthing are!

Love the Lady Deathstrike inclusion. I think she is super underrated at the moment! She take opponents by surprise My only problem with the main deck is there is only one way to destroy Daken's shard. I feel like if you're gonna include him you gotta have another destroy option like a Carnage or something. Other than that, love the video!!

I had 6 cache’s, figured I gamble on one and try to pull man thing, seeing as how I’d still have 5 for a week where I’d want all the cards. It paid off and I pulled him. Feels good.

As much as I love these videos, I am usually playing Snap when I watch them and then all I see is the featured deck. I went for like 9 months without doing any deck research, always trying to homebrew and win on my own steam until netdecks became so ubiquitous that I had to counter them with other netdecks. It is so rare that I see any original decks in Snap. Game is still fun, but holy crap it feels like no one can trrrust their own deck designs so they resort to whatever meta is dominant.

truth im just trying to get gambit to work or nimrod with elsa but i cant play cards when they just fill my side every game

Man Thing is great but this really does feel like a Deathstrike season - so many small combo cards i've slotted her in Thanos Destroy to help clear board and clearing Elsa pre-turn 6 or even with initiative to block a turn 5 combo too its just so fun right now!

Man thing is one of those rare cards whose base art is just absolutely insane. I love the base variant a lot more than any other one.

Just played Man-Thing for the first time, played him to a lane with Super Skrull for the double debuff.

Lady Death gets slept on. I personally dont have her however it feels like I lose tons of matches when shes randomly played against me.

I put him into a thanos ongoing deck and it's been a freaking blast. Took it through gold conquest

Accidentally used one spotlight. Got Kang. Was so annoyed I used all 4 and got him. Gonna try this toxic deck. Might as well.

He is fun for sure, and even though the current meta counters him at times - if they don't get their Luke, or you can guess where he will be last turn its a auto win.

I didn’t hesitate to get him lol. He went straight in my high evo toxic deck and has been doing pretty good

With how rare LDS gets featured in decks, feels like the deck's name could be Toxic Lady Thing to give her some representation, also sounds a bit more spicy than just Toxic Thing😆

@cozysnap You might consider Master Mold, he works with both Lady Deathstrike and Man-Thing

I just bought man-thing and pulled ladydeathstrike from a single cache because i love the TOXIC playstyle!

The +8 / -8 swing of a single man thing in the final game is sick...

I unlocked him via spotlight because I didnt have either of the other cards, and ended up with 4 new cards from each spotlight. Getting Lad really elevated more decks this week than I expected

No daken 🤔 subbed in beast , first game took out an elsa deck with Man-Thing and DeathStrike on Nidavieler . 10 out of 10 would Death Thing again. 👍

Im loving the Toxic decks, Im running a pretty fun deck with Omega Red + Wong Hazmat a load of ongoings + Spectrum no one expects it.. its devious and hilarious hehe

Maybe a "My Hidden Thing" deck? Most people expect living tribunal, hela, and modok with invisible woman. Try mixing it up with forge, lady deathstrike, and man thing.

I've come to realized that if you skip a month or two of getting new cards. The future spotlight caches values drastically increase because now there's multiple new cards you can pull.

A card that has some ok strategy i havent aeen anyone talk about it colossus. His power cant be reduced, so the 2 together is an 8 power swing then you reduce your opponents cards even further from there, if you decide to lady deathstrike on top of it she wont kill colossus for even more power onto that lane

I think buy this card with tokens is the best solution here because when FireStare spotlights arrive, there's no way you don't want to grab that amazing comic book variant for Man-Thing

I bought him for tokens and I do not regret. A lot of fun with new toxic/evo decks, but for now playing him without Rogue is pretty much... pointless. :)

Is Ghost Spider good enough to consider throwing in that deck? Are you able to use her to pull Sentry's Power Void to another location? I'm not sure if the Power Void is considered a 'played' card.

I kinda wish Man-Things ability affected the whole board, but that would also probably make Luke Cage mandatory in most decks and it's already popular enough

Zabu, than goose on lane, you can play man thing on this lane cuz of Zabu and you get -2 lane 100% sure, of course Luke says "that's great play bro"

I think you need to add a star rating to your decks Cozy. For skill level as well. So somoene like me doesnt lose 80 cubes trying to play a deck I'm not good enough to play.

offtopic question @Cozy Snap : have you ever heared about a shadowban in marvel snap or am i tripping? ive been so unlucky for a month straight, it cant be coincidence anymore... from level 1000 to 1800 ive pulled more titles than i got pool3 cards, not even talking about booster, credits, avatars or the value of those few cards that i got... since elsa release, everyone has either else or angela on turn2, every game, i didnt draw my elsa for 12 games in a row yesterday... yes im ranting and probably tripping a little, but this unfortune of mine has reached a point where i dont enjoy playing anymore, i have to force myself to finish dailys... so, is there something like a shadowban in snap?

I am not discouraged by the existence of Luke Cage. All affliction cards suffer from him being out there, but I still see plenty of evolved Cyclops/Wasp, Hazmat and Spider Woman. All cards have counters and their play rate will go up and down. Man-Thing seems like a good and fun card so I will buy him for tokens.

Lady deathstrike is made to counter all the tech cards hindering these decks. Luke mobius and such

I'm surprised that High Evolutionary player didn't had a Luke Cage, cause every time i play against one they always has him.
