Great, in-depth guide! Surfer is my favourite deck, it's my go-to if I want to have a fun time and I recently won an Infinity Conquest using the deck. Werewolf-by-night is a great addition, and the combination of Shadow King, Killmonger and/or Rogue can completely destroy some other archetypes

Can't wait to see how Sebastian Shaw performs in Surfer decks. Maybe Ironheart and Nakia will be key in making sure Shaw gets bigger.

This breakdown is so good. Surfer is a deck that should see play for a long time, and breaking down why each card is there is so good.

That 2nd deck (the control deck)has been my main deck since the Snowguard change. It's ridiculously good. I use Jeff instead of Goose to steal cubes from the lockdown decks.

These in-depth guides are just the best Marvel Snap content out there.

that happens to me a lot as well lol i build my own deck and then a utuber does a video on the archtype i built so its similar then everyone and their mother is playing it and knows whats going on only thing i hate about it when they do a deck guide and new card release cause for the next week everyone is gonna be trying this youtubers new deck xD

Funny thing is that Stan Lee actually sort of disses the name in the Surfer's first appearance in FF#48: he's introduced as a 'Silver Surfer, for want of a better name'.

My current Surfer deck: Forge, Elsa, Brood, Rogue, Surfer, Captain America, Cosmo, Killmonger, Gladiator, Absorbing Man, Sera and America Chavez. Sadly had take out Iron Lad.

11:52 I think it was Alex when he first got high on negasonic that he ran the werewolf deck, but he used nova….oof hard to choose between that and snowguard (or has/something else). Snowguard is tough because why does it matter that it makes more 3 costs..? Most of the deck is that anyway…still a fab synnergy but hard to tell if that’s better than nova, or something else…?

my surfer deck has magik and I play mystique at 6 after sera. on 7 I build a huge hit-monkey (I had a 22 power the other day with elsa buffs). by far my favorite surfer deck, it allows me to go tall and wide at the same time

@@beatsbyadmiralz5915 yeah I usually play this deck in conquest, in ladder it's dangerous and sometimes is hard to get the main core (magik, sera and surfer)

I've been using a High evo version with Cyclops and Shocker it's won be quite a bit of cubes

Love Surfer. My current deck atm # (1) Sunspot # (2) Armor # (3) Wolfsbane # (3) Brood # (3) Magik # (3) Negasonic Teenage Warhead # (3) Rogue # (3) Silver Surfer # (3) Cyclops # (4) Shuri # (4) High Evolutionary # (6) She-Hulk

Shadow king works on werewolf, will make him back to default power so watch out for that.

I am playing Ronnan Surfer with great success. Only struggles against Loki decks but you can retreat smartly depending on the board state.

I'm really surprised that forge isn't a must have in the brood surfer deck, he's nearly essential in every deck, brood takes him over the edge imo.

Not really have the cards for either these decks. Looks fun though 🙂

werewolf checks the state of a card after that card has finished resolving. by the time he checks, rogue is an ongoing card, so he doesn’t move. same with cards getting destroyed, turned into demons, etc

Sera replacement? Its probably the most key card im missing here and didn't hear any options.

It’s so crazy seeing a surfer deck that doesn’t run brood. That used to be such a core part of what made Surfer so strong

Cozy I am sorry bro but every single time I play Sera Surfer or anything that involves the chrome dome himself I lose big. This deck needs some massive love because it is terrible. I have made infinite every season with other decks that are actually good but silver surfer needs some serious support

Surfer is one of those weird decks. Against the absolute best players, especially at infinite conquest, it's a deck that really doesn't hold up as well as the best meta performers imo.

Game sucks. Until they get a counter for cosmo which will never happen the game sucks.
