Yeah this is pure Gold Dust❣️ I’ve been able to find only a few rarities like this or where she wasn’t supposed 2B taped @all but was. I was ~14when I 1st heard her. As a classical&modern 🎹ist, my dad taught me everyday from age 2 -he was a pro🎹by 15 & my bro&I had all kinds of musicians walking thru our lives…I even miss falling😴🛌as they started playing in our rehearsal studio. But 4me, Tori was a breath of fresh air. Even when 80’s pop, New Wave & 80’s glam rock trends came to a screeching halt allowing more underground, alternative rock to have a voice by 1990-93, 🎹was only incidental until Tori gave it a voice, opening the🚪2others brave enough (or fought hard enough to not have🎸replace them). Besides classical, I really love playing her catalog of music & have followed it to this day. The only other 1 I have is Fiona🍎. Tho they’re both alt.rock🎹ists, their approaches to song✍🏼 are different in so many ways. But since my pers.interests in🎶are very eclectic, when it comes 2🎹,4me they’re more alike. Thank you so much for sharing this📼-it brings a beautiful nostalgia that I rarely get 2experience!!

That's a great find. Interesting seeing the rehearsal stuff but I really loved just seeing that performance again. Oh damn, I'm old now.

+Matthew Wiegand I got it from a friend a few decades ago. The video likely originated in a Late Night office, which had live feeds from the studio.

Hey Don, do you have the Conan rehearsal video too? Because it was on the same tape. I got it at a CD/record show in Allentown, PA around the same time in ‘94.

@@dongiller I don’t think the Conan tape has ever been posted anywhere…at least I’ve never seen it online. Just also wanted to say, love your channel…I had some Letterman clips posted (Jimmy Buffet and Leslie Nielsen fart machine) and they had both been up for 5+ years but of course after Jimmy passed Worldwide Pants put up their own (which was fine) and they were nice enough NOT to strike my channel. I was paranoid and took everything else NBC-related down. I hope they do the same for you (not strike your channel) as it’s been a fave of lots of people for quite awhile. I grew up watching Dave since the beginning and taped a ton of his stuff, too, since the early 80’s as I was high school/college age then. Thanks for being the conduit for so much great content and happy memories of those earlier days.
