Every once in a while I'll read a comment on YT that says something similar to yours.....about the young playing rock and all. I agree totally because it's so important. @@jamesreynolds852 I think it's a combination of things, taste, getting noticed and money to do things, record, produce, my son (23) has given it a good go (he's in the garage/drum room ,singing as I write this,)he's on it 24hrs a day almost. Rock doesn't do well these days as you will know, unless you are Slash and his new band etc,(by the way Slash and Lemmy both lived within 10 miles of us, and Ozzy Osbourne a little further.In fairness had my son not have had meningitis at 18 he may have been in a different place now ,still, that's life.

As a kid..... I had Women and Children First on a 2nd hand 8-track tape with all the label warn off. I thought this song was "Lock the Door".... It was years later that I learned it's Loss Control.... IMO its the hardest rocking song V.H. has ever made. These guy replicated it as close to perfectly as needs to be. WELL DONE ! And thanks.

All of these musicians sounded great, creating MUSIC by playing as a BAND in front of an AUDIENCE. No second takes, no perfection, no do-overs in their rooms at home, they were putting it all out there in front of a live audience. I clicked on this channel and watched quite a few of the videos from them. They did Van Halen proud, it's easy to mess up these songs and they didn't. Germantown SOR has some talented players. Keep up the work, y'all.

The Power Trio playing in the beginning were sweet! They were on it. Lead guitarists should never care what anyone thinks of them. I saw some video interview that featured the guitarist from Twisted Sister/J.J. French? ( not a big fan of the group, btw), and he was talking about when he got his first Marshall amp/dpeaker as a young man. He was several stories up, playing it loud, with the window open. After a while, he hears knocking on the door of the apartment. Young guy at the door who said he first followed the noise of the guitar after first hearing it from two New York City blocks away.

YES! Yes, Yes, Yes! So much going on here, the guitarist is a BEAST, at first I thought this might be an old Deraps video, he's that good. But watch this one a second time through and focus on the bassist... ALSO a friggin' BEAST. Drummer is awesome, great job on the breakdown in Light Up the Sky. The girls' harmonies were very good on that song. And song choice, these are deep tracks, and excellent ones at that. Loved this performance. And now I see 10 other Van Halen covers in your video list, but also Whitesnake, Zeppelin... Yes. Liked and Subscribed immediately.

After DLR and VH parted ways, Eddie was really interested in having a female lead singer. Great hearing females sing these songs to give it a new "twist".

Not just a female lead singer, but Patty Smyth of Scandal fame ( who was several months pregnant at the time when Eddie asked her). She is still a top notch vocalist, who just happens to be a woman. Very powerful singer, right up there with Anne Wilson of Heart. My favorite musical moment on Letterman back in the day, was when Patty sang a Led Zepplin song with the house band. Look it up. She KILLED it!

Vocals on various School of Rock, and School of Rock All-stars always tend to be the weakest links in shows and productions, and yes, that is usually down to how they are so low in the mix. But the same can be said in most guitar driven bands, and even bass driven bands. I was at an Uli Von Roth show, and people were complaining they couldn't hear the vocalist. To which Uli stopped the show to say, "Did you come here to hear him, or to hear me?"

Great guys play that rock - you have good technical qualities all of you. Keep on. Still have my band formed in school nearly 40 years ago - we made our own songs, add a new one every fifth year or so. We all play a little and then we get together to try out before we have a gig. This is having a band and still spending most time to excell as a man

I was lucky enough to see every Roth era tour except the 1st! Awesome to see kids who appreciate raw live music! The 3 piece is tight! The girls weren’t loud enough and lacked energy. Guitarist also lacked showmanship but the chops are definitely there! A bit of work and I see a money making tribute band!
