This was a great game! The blur didn't matter at all because everyone announced their plays and you showed the cards.

Tomer's Hallar deck is a beast. For a "forgotten" uncommon from Dominaria it's super scary.

That was a great Match, love the editing and the sound was my first worries, but its great. Because of the great editing, the blurry focus doesnt matter too much.

I missed my Rogue's Passage while having an infinite/infinite Crackdown Construct... lost before next turn. I feel that.

The video and sound quality are good enough :) Especially with the card animations.

Omg, that Tor Wauki list was hilarious.

Oh cool! I ran across Hallar after seeing the new duo card and thought this was a really cool commander to build around. Have to keep rooting for the human tribal though! That Tor Wauki deck looks real fun with the 1 cmc build too

I just realized that Tomer and Jim had some archer v archer battle with Hallar and Tor Wauki.

Hehe I think Tomer had a moment when he saw that Hedron Archive... I know it's his favourite card and all!

I loved it even though the camera was fuzzy. Love it as always.

This was a blast to watch, was fun watching people who have not learned the Mathew strategy of killing Esmond.

Good game and delightful crowd!

42:50 Couldn't he have played a lot more with the top/bolas and the reducer? tap top to draw, play the top for 1 life and each artefact in hand cost 2 less right? I don't know maybe there's something I missed

That might've been the correct play - draw any land / artifact off the top with sensei's and then play them for almost free. Moreover, those mana rocks that were sacrificed to the grinding station should've probably been used before sac to float mana just in case. Don't know if that would've actually made a difference at such a low starting life total.

Hallar should've gotten double counters a few times after Primal Vigor hit the field and therefor dealt double damage :) but he won anyway so no big harm 👍

I new it when Tomer says " Budget " you have to take him out.

Renzo could've used Grinding Station to mill yourself to get more control on whats on top.

Jim, please tell me you are running the one mana deathtouch equipment.

I do not love playing against artifact storm decks in commander. They spend the early game complaining about not hitting lands or not having a play (when they built their decks with 0 lands and 0 early game plays), and then they take over the late game. It is nothing against Renzo, I'm sure he's a nice guy. I would just never want to play against this.

Yeah... Played this week against a Saffi deck. He just watched us play the whole time. I felt sorry for him only having 2 lands and would only attack other 2. (his commander was counters 1st time and put into grave). Then he gets 5th mana, combos and wins. I never played against that before, if I'd known id eliminate him with one attack then he'd just have to watch us play (which i was avoiding) He seemed good person but.. Not everyone wants to play cEDH..

Jim would not have taken an extra damage from Ancient Tomb for casting Tor Wauki. Tor Wauki wasn't in play yet to trigger.

Wasn't the ooze much bigger by 40:50 during that attack? Tomer exiled 4 cards from Renzo so it should've gotten 8 more counters with Primal Vigor?

I think you need to clarify what you mean by "Patreon exclusive games" further, because I originally thought "Oh, there will be some episodes only available for patreon supporters to watch?" while after seeing who are playing, the thought changed to "Wait, was Esmond saying the players will all be patreoners instead or what??" please do clarify that, thx

The one time I had Fertilid in a proliferate deck it helped so much with politicking. "Oh you missed 3 land drops? I'll Fertilid for you if you do X or Y" plus my playgroup is super casual so we usually don't mind helping each others decks play well. Felt bad for Renzo that Tomer never let him get a land.

When the new player jumps straight into combo it's never a good thing. Even the spike with the spike channel plays synergy these days cause look how much more fun it was. Ban combo

Bolas’s citadel looks at the cmc of the card, cost reductions don’t help

Totally could have activated ooze in response to the encore would of shut down all that value

The Tor Wauki deck seems boring/cheap. Dont mean to hate i can just never see myself playing something so simplistic.
