    @SalemGamorrah Agreed, the players/consumers are the ones that win when developers make incredible games. Unfortunately I feel there's no universal metrics to rate and review games so the public never truly gives great games the recognition that they deserve which makes new developers not focus on game development. But I digress! Cheers my friend for spitting some truth.

    There are some expensive cards in the game if you want to play at the absolute highest level, but most of them aren't that huge of a difference and the better player will usually win even if you pay more than them. Apply the 'player skill' multiplier to every card because there aren't many free wins in FAB.

  • @ezmacnsteeze
    @ezmacnsteezeАй бұрын

    My problem with FaB, and I think a big reason it's not more popular, is that the game has too strict of a "value system" imo. Heroes are visually different and the art is amazing, but when playing you quickly realize that most of the cards feel like they do the same thing. This card attacks for 4 or blocks for 3. Sometimes you get an on-hit effect that makes your 2 cards trade with their two cards. Then, you get into this tempo loop when you are ahead that makes it so your opponent can't play the game. I'm glad you love the game! And I think it's a stretch to call it the "greatest card game" when there are so many good games out right now. To me, FaB had its day in the sun, and it tried something new and different which I appreciate. MTG, yugioh, and pokemon are still the "biggest" tcgs out. New games like One Piece and Star Wars: Unlimited have exploded in popularity and I'd argue are much "better" games to me.

    @dang476 I'm not sure how you got to those figures, but it can be pricy. You're looking more at 400-800 dollar range for a super competitive deck I believe. Still not cheap though. Before that stage many people are just buying the armory decks and managing to win their local events, and many of those lists only need a hundred or so more dollars to make them super viable, such as with the hero Boltyn.
