Would changing the back treble to assist hooks help with hook up rates

Jeff Smith some people swear by them, if you like them than that’s an option for sure. I’m not a huge fan as a lot tend to tangle. I found some good ones once that were shorter and had decent hooks but yeah I think you’re always going to miss some, all part of the fun.

Just getting into topwater bream, great tips but the lures are so expensive!

RcSpeedRunsAus 10lb fluorocarbon. I like to go a bit heavy in case I get a Trev or a little jack. Was using 15lb mono this arvo fishing for jacks and still got plenty of bream. Fluoro is ok up to 10lb, anything over that starts to drag the lure down.

And some more stock mate! I lost my favorite in the racks at Port Stephens can’t wait to replace it.

Took the prawn for a flick on the mangroves and had at least 30 fish attacking and following but every single one of them a miss, went to a flat next and got 6 bream.. must be using the wrong colour
