  Howdy, from Texas! Please attach a file which will download to my makerbot. I teach a wildlife conservation class and we would like to print this lure and customize the paint job for each student. The file will not open after downloading. I will then have to upload to the 3D printer. Thank you for the awesome video! My classes really enjoy it.

  Lot of top water prawns running, whitings and flatheads coming top water and smashing those prawns. Less than 2 meter deep. Tried mmd splash prawn with no success. Unweighted live prawns very successful. What am I doing wrong :(

  These lures catch everything so many sootys Jp jacks barra trevs and much more everywhere I have used it in tropical far north qld cheers for a top lure!!

  Hello I am a very big fan and I am hoping to buy a splash prawn and soft prawn by the end of next month do u have any tips on how to fish them

  Thanks mate, quick little pops with the Splash Prawns to make a bit of spray and then long pauses if you're chasing Bream and Jacks, keep popping it if you're chasing Whiting. With the Soft Prawns generally fish them slow, they'll most often get eaten on the drop or the pause. Cheers.

  Why aren't LURE COMPANIES making similar lures that can be made? AIRFIX Lures!!! The buyer can choose what sort of lure, size, weights, glide baits, paint templates.... Etc etc. Then make their own lure like they used to make AIRFIX Tanks, Plane's, Cars when they were younger or still making them!

  can you catch topwater fish in winter? I know it can be hard but I love fishing with topwater lures.

  Depends a bit on where you’re fishing I think. You can still get them where I am around the Gold Coast but they are less frequent. Think they get harder to catch in winter the further south you go.

  @@MMDfishing Thanks for the quick reply! I live not too far from the gold coast so that is good news! Btw I tried topwater fishing for the first time last week with the mmd splash prawn and got good results with some trevally and bream. Love these lures and keep up the good work!

  Should be able to fish them on most rods mate. Can get the lure working with a quick half turn of the reel so they’re not hard to use.

  Hey Mick, I did well on your splash prawns so thought Id have a go with the 70 medium soft prawn...fantastic! I thought I'd try out the smaller soft prawns too, bloody fantastic, not sure which one I love the most mate!

  I think so mate, have never fished the area but I can't see why the wouldn't work. The heavy ones are also good up here when the bream start schooling up in deeper water.
