@@theamputeeangler we went out yesterday and had same kind of fishing… excellent fun with loads of bream, then I tried your drifting a fillet of mackerel for turbot, whole lot got bitten off so thought it might be a tope… mate dropped same rig down & 5 minutes later caught our 1st ever tope !!

@@Esoxlucius155 nice mate well done. Got a great underwater video going up mid week that will give you an insight as to much of a battering your baits take at certain times, there are so many cuttle down there at the minute chomping baits

Great video mate. It’s fantastic watching the kids and family enjoying something that we love. My boy loves coming fishing with me the only thing is he out fishes me now 😂

great vid bud. forgot to say the other day thank you for your service. i know it’s a bit of a yank thing to say but coming from a military family i know the sacrifices and consequences. Them Gurnards are beautiful fish. i once speared an absolute monster. lovely tasting.

Thanks for watching and for the nice comments I appreciate that I honestly do. A few vids back John who I fish with had a 4lb Tub is was bloody lovely, sadly didn’t go back as it had blown internally but he said it tasted nice 😂

@@theamputeeangler yeh i’ve eaten a few decent tubs. when you’re spearing you do tend to come across quite a few resting on the floor.
