True, there's lots of money in the U.S. but it's mostly owned by 1% of population. Most Americans, though, a $500 emergency can put people into crippling debt that they can't get out of. Plus, the housing market is outrageous and people simply can't afford rents in cities like L.A. and New York, even working two jobs or more. That's how I understand it anyway.

As these wonderful changes are imminent, we have a wonderful future to look forward to.

While well meant, Christians can have a bad habit of using "end times prophecy" as a way to opt out of their responsibility to help bring about change in the here-and-now. Furthermore, this isn't "good news" when tied to a creator that promises to eternally punish people that don't return his "love"... Please don't retreat to (or spread) a fantasy religion that seeks to control people through fear while calling it love. DN helps educate us so we can make an actual difference.

Our democracy is an oligarchy/plutocracy... always was really. Far as I'm concerned our representative democracy is no longer. Seeing as our representatives don't represent civilians' interests anymore, I feel we're back to the days of taxation w/o representation. They tax us -elites and corporations get that tax money as 'subsidies' and avoid paying taxes as much as they can. Just about everything everyday citizens can unite on and agree upon -gets snuffed out in favor of corporate profits and more and more tax cuts for the uber wealthy. Our leaders are paid off. What would China do to these students they are a world power like the US

I live in a place where many US retirees live to enjoy peaceful and carefree lifestyle. They still worry about the possibility of paying tax to the US, though they are much better off making more values by living in the country where the cost of living is a lot cheaper and comfort is easily accessible. They also assume everyone is thinking like them, while they are so obsessed with their personal problems and healing. Very strange kettle of fish. They think American English and sentiment is understood everywhere on earth. All I can do is not mix with them.

That stood out to me too. It’s obvious by the state of the world that world leaders are completely incapable of solving any of mankind’s most pressing problems. They don’t seem to understand that true peace is not just an absence of war. It means peace every day. It means that you wake up each morning without a thought of war, without having to worry about your future, your children’s future, even your grandchildren’s future. It means complete peace of mind. It means no more crime, no more violence, no more families torn apart, no more homeless people, no more people starving or freezing, and no more despair and frustration. Only our Creator has both the desire and the power to solve all our problems and he’s going to do exactly that very shortly. His righteous and just Kingdom government in heaven is currently poised to take over the rulership of the whole earth. (Luke 4:43; Matthew 6:10) It will remove all human governments along with everyone causing pain and suffering for others. (Daniel 2:44; Proverbs 2:21, 22) As King of the Kingdom, Jesus will lovingly care for each one of his citizens. (Isaiah 65:21, 22) Everyone will live in true peace and security. In Novobakmutivka, 115th Ukrainian mech. brigade had to abandon their positions under unbearable Russian arty preparation followed by very strong assaults. Novomikailivka also suffered a very strong Russian assault, Ukraine pulled back from city and now controlled by Russia. Krasnohorivka and Ocheretyne have also fallen, which was a very important logistical, command and control hub. Russia is training another 200,000 troops for summer offensive. Abrams, Leopards and Bradleys vehicules are being paraded in Moscow as war trophies.

Is the logical conclusion here not that the two parties you guys have over in the US are basically the same when it comes to waging wars all over the place? Neither of the two is an option that represents freedom/peace, though both of their mouths are full with those words. I do not envy US voters. I was born in what is today Serbia and these images of police breaking up protests are very comparable or even worse than what we have in Serbia, which is, by the way, pretty authoritarian these days. So there you have it, that's the level of democracy the USA is in at the moment. Welcome to the club.
