They have truly streamlined the procedure... Shoigu will be promoted with an emphasis on the Russian military industrial complex, which the western media has not identified as a national security adviser... As a national security council adviser, he has grown closer to Putin... whereas the new guy is an economist technocrat who will bring more money for military expansion by relieving Shoigu of administrative duties!!! As usual, the Western media portrays this as a setback; nonetheless, this is an excellent step in the midst of a major NATO escalation threat.

No it's a demotion. You see about two weeks ago Shoigu man Ivanov was arrested, he's was deputy defense minister and the right hand man of Shoigu. Moscow bloggers showed that he lived in a palatial mansion and that in his basement there was chests and chests full of US cash and gold.

Putin doesn’t want him to be involved with everything as he wants him to look after the military industrial complex. The one who has been appointed as the defence minister is a highly respected guy who has so much of experience handling affairs in kremlin.

The Indians where totally "enthusiastic" with really checking into what kind of man Shoigu was India gave billions of US dollars to him. He flat out stole 1/3 of the money for himself. Then he gave away 1/3 of to his cronies. India was stunned by the betrayal.

First let's not forget Shoigu asked to resign 2-3 years ago but Putin asked him stay on you might call this whatever but facts still are just that, By creating this kind of a Buffer between The Armed forces and the National defense spending is yet another brilliant move from a brilliant leader and it is absolutely serving its purpose much better and its going to be much more efficient under Civilian leadership. Look at any command-and-control structure in the world - Civilian or Military - and what has changed the most in the last 1ö years? answer'- They all have in one way, or another added a new box at the top structural level called Finance. Perfect example how great leaders evolve.

India and China trade is a positive, there is a lot of tension around the world and peace is welcomed.

No amount of shifting people around is going to help Putler in his misadventure in Ukraine. As the Russian people begin to suffer more and more as a result of his PERVERSE behaviour, he will eventually not be able to control the population anymore. Just a small example. When a civilian airliner lands, it has to use its brakes to bring the plane to a stop. Sometimes because of brake failure, the pilot has to resort to engine braking. But what you now have is that because of sanctions by the west, Aeroflot cannot get brake sparerparts, as a result of which they have to REGULARLY resort to engine braking, which puts a strain on the plane. As a result of this, a number of planes have to be grounded, which not only affects the airline's performance. but Russian travellers as well, and as time goes on, things are only going to get worse.

Even if the defence minister Shoigu was ask to retired that's not supposed to be a big deal at least the General is old enough to retired and relax from long term serving. I didn't believe he was sack, is either he was promoted or retired.
